Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Reuniting On ‘The Voice,’ But Are They Headed For A Split In Real Life?

Fans will finally see Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani reunite when Season 12 of The Voice premieres in February.

They might be set to compete against each other on NBC’s hit singing competition, but are they headed for a major breakup in real life?

According to Blasting News, Stefani will replace Miley Cyrus next season and Shelton may have played a part in getting the No Doubt alum back on the show.

Cyrus’s departure is only temporary, however, and she will return as a coach in Season 13.

That being said, an inside source revealed that Cyrus constantly feuded with Shelton and Adam Levine.

At one point, the fighting got so heated that Cyrus was “left in tears.”

Cyrus got emotional because she felt like Levine and Shelton were always ganging up on her. Cyrus fought particularly hard with Levine, who “wants nothing to do with” her.

“He nitpicks almost every single thing she says,” the insider noted.

Despite the fights, Cyrus is determined to make it through the end of the season.

“[Miley] refuses to be beat by the old men [Adam and Blake],” an insider explained.

This is the first season Cyrus and Alicia Keys have been a part of The Voice. In fact, Movie News Guide reported that this season is the first time the show has featured two female judges at the same time.

So far, the experiment has paid off, especially considering the new viewers Cyrus and Keys brought to the show.

The only problem is Cyrus’ constant feuding with her male counterparts and it looks like producers are bringing in Stefani to help even things out.

After all, Stefani has been a coach in the past and knows how to handle Levine and Shelton.

Back in Season 9, fans watched Stefani’s romance with Shelton unfold on the show, though she hasn’t been back as a coach since.

Whether or not Season 13 will feature Stefani and Cyrus together is yet to be seen.

Meanwhile, Australian Network News is reporting that Stefani’s relationship with Shelton might be in trouble.

Apparently, Stefani has been spending a lot of time with Blake Shelton at his massive ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and is starting to get bored.

“Gwen isn’t the type to sit and watch the sunset, and there’s only, like, five stores in town,” an inside source revealed. “The last time they were there, the Wi-Fi went down. Gwen was going to lose her mind if they played one more game of Monopoly!”

Stefani was born and raised in Anaheim, California and is used to life on the West Coast.

This isn’t the first time that Shelton and Stefani have faced rumors of a breakup.

The couple reportedly had issues because Stefani didn’t want to travel between Oklahoma and California just to see Shelton. She also refused to move in with Shelton because L.A. is her home.

Of course, the two have not shown any signs of a split and instead look stronger than ever.

Not only is Stefani set to re-join Shelton on The Voice, but they recently performed a duet for President Barack Obama’s last State Dinner.

The couple took the stage and performed “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” for Obama and his guests.

Furthermore, an inside source told Gossip Cop that the rumors of an impending split are simply not true.

In fact, Stefani told People that she really enjoys spending time on Shelton’s ranch and doesn’t get bored.

“One day off on tour, we were in Texas and all decided to just drive our buses to the ranch. We just had a really fun day off being in the country,” she explained. “Growing up in Anaheim, my version of the country was the beach or the local park. There wasn’t a lot of that kind of experience, so it’s been really fun.”

With Stefani’s romance with Shelton still going strong, her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, is tired of hearing about her love life.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Rossdale recently opened up about his divorce with Stefani and admitted that everyone just needs to move on.

“It’s like, enough already. I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on,” he stated.

Although it sounds like Rossdale wants to move on, the Bush frontman just landed a spot on the UK’s version of The Voice.

Talk about awkward!

“It’s ironic,” Rossdale shared about being on a similar show as Stefani. “It’s like nothing’s surprising anymore.”

“She’s so incredible at it,” he continued. “I’ve watched her. She’s really, really brilliant at that show. She’s so natural at it. I hope that I’m just half as good as her.”

Fans can watch Shelton in action when new episodes of The Voice air Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.
