Adam Levine Speaks Out After Being Accused Of Abusing Wife Behati Prinsloo And Their Baby

Adam Levine shared a tweet with fans on October 22, but it had nothing to do with the recent abuse scandal involving his wife, model Behati Prinsloo, and their baby daughter, Dusty Rose.

Over the weekend, Adam Levine chose to ignore a recent investigation and focus on a video which featured 16-year-old Will Hunt, who is awaiting heart surgery, covering Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved.”

On October 22, Celebuzz shared the video clip with readers, along with Adam Levine’s caption, which read, “It’s hard to express with words what it feels like to know you’ve helped someone in this way. So instead, I’ll just share. Nice job kid.”

Just days before his tweet, Adam Levine was targeted by a child abuse investigation, which has since been closed. Earlier this month, TMZ claimed an anonymous tipster called authorities and claimed Adam Levine had not only been physically abusive to his weeks-old daughter, Dusty Rose, but also to his wife of two years, Behati Prinsloo. Shortly thereafter, police investigated and discovered the allegations against Levine were “totally bogus.”

“[The Los Angeles Police Department’s] Juvenile Division got the tip last Wednesday, alleging Adam hit his one-month-old baby girl in the face. The tipster also alluded to allegations of domestic violence… claiming Adam struck his wife so hard it knocked her to the ground,” TMZ revealed to readers.

Once the claims were made, Adam Levine’s family received a visit at their Los Angeles home, and during the visit, Behati Prinsloo spoke to cops, who found no visible injuries to her or to Dusty Rose and determined the claims against Levine were unfounded.

Following the shocking case against him, sources close to Adam Levine told TMZ that it was unfair that he had fallen victim to “false” and “atrocious” allegations due to his fame. The sources also confirmed that Adam Levine was appreciative to the Los Angeles Police Department and glad they so promptly shut down the claims against him.

Also last week, Adam Levine opened up about life as a new dad during an appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

“I’ve been a parent for three weeks; what do I know?” Adam Levine joked to the radio host, according to a report by Harper’s Bazaar. “I don’t know anything, but it’s kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly… There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It’s a beautiful experience.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcomed their first child, daughter Dusty Rose Levine, on September 21, just over two years after tying the knot in Mexico.

“Behati loves being a mom and can’t wait to eventually expand the family more,” an insider told E! News on September 27. “[Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo] are completely attached to her. They don’t want to let Dusty out of their sight.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have been clear with their desires to have a large family since their relationship was made official with their July 2014 marriage. It is no surprise that the pair already has more babies on their minds. That said, it may be a while before Prinsloo becomes pregnant again because Adam Levine is currently in midst of production on The Voice Season 11, and Prinsloo may want to return to modeling sooner rather than later.
