Sia’s Response To Trump’s Claims That Clinton Lacks ‘Stamina,’ And How Sia Could Dominate The 2017 Oscars

Sia has a video response to Donald Trump’s sexist “stamina” comments, according to Hollywood Life. The Republican candidate made headlines when he said during a televised debate with his presidential rival Democrat Hillary Clinton that the former first lady lacks the “stamina” to be the president of the United States.

And Sia has a video that says two things: first, that Sia will support Clinton at this year’s presidential election, and second, that the Democratic candidate has the stamina to be next president of the country!

Sia took to Twitter recently to show that Trump is wrong when he says that his presidential rival lacks “stamina.” In a short music video clip, the pop singer repurposes her hit single “The Greatest” to respond to Trump’s infamous sexist comments about Clinton.

In the beginning of the clip, Trump says Clinton doesn’t have “the look” and doesn’t have “the stamina” to be the president. Then, as Sia’s line “Oh, oh, I got the stamina” from “The Greatest” plays in the background, the clip shows a mashup of video scenes from Clinton’s political career over the past years.

In Sia’s short music video, Clinton is seen as a young girl at the school, working with U.S. President Barack Obama, and spending quality time with her own family. Then, the clip cuts to Clinton’s response given to Trump during the debate when she hints that Trump is the one who doesn’t have the stamina.

“As soon as he travels to 112 countries and negotiates a peace deal, a cease-fire, he can talk to me about stamina.”

Sia’s clip was inspired by Trump’s sexist comments during the debate when host Lester Holt asked the GOP candidate about Clinton’s “presidential look.” Howev er, Trump then backpedaled and said all he meant was that Clinton couldn’t endure a full term as president.

But the next president of the United States is not the only person to have a busy 2017, as Sia has a chance to dominate next year’s Oscars, according to Billboard. The 40-year-old singer is making serious steps to score multiple nominations for her soundtracks.

Sia could make history and have a full category of her own at next year’s Academy Awards, as the “Chandelier” singer has written a number of songs for films this year that are eligible for the best original song.

In fact, Sia has so far co-written three potential best original song contenders, including Finding Dory’s “Unforgettable” and Zootopia’s “Try Everything.” And the third one is her song from Lion, which hits theaters on November 25 and will still be eligible for next year’s Oscars, which will be held on February 26.

Sia’s latest album, This Is Acting, is one of the most successful albums of 2016, but the Australian singer wants to make it even bigger, according to Digital Spy. The singer released a deluxe edition of her latest album, which came out on January 29.

The deluxe edition was released on October 21 and featured seven new songs, including Sia’s solo version of “The Greatest,” which the singer originally recorded with Kendrick Lamar.

Other new Sia songs include the collaboration with Sean Paul on the single “Cheap Thrills” and “Move Your Body” with Alan Walker. The Australian singer kicked off her “Nostalgic for the Present Tour” earlier this year.

Sia is expected to perform shows in Los Angeles, Boston, Las Vegas, Brooklyn, Toronto, and a number of other big cities as part of her current tour in November.
