Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been split up for over a month, but could they ultimately do away with their divorce and rekindle their marriage?
Currently, Brad Pitt and his wife appear to be in a war of words when it comes to their breakup and custody battle but according to a new report, 41-year-old Jolie may be rethinking her decision to file for divorce.
“The kids can’t stop talking about [Brad Pitt] and asking questions, which is bugging [Angelina Jolie] but also making her miss Brad. Angelina may even be having second thoughts about leaving Brad,” a source told Hollywood Life on October 21.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19, days after the actor was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with their 15-year-old son, Maddox. As fans may recall, Maddox was adopted by Jolie prior to her relationship with Brad Pitt, which began on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. However, after the former couple went public with their romance, Pitt adopted Maddox as his own. Brad Pitt also adopted Pax, 12, from Vietnam, and Zahara, 11, from Ethiopia.
In addition to Brad Pitt’s adopted children, the 52-year-old actor is also dad to 10-year-old Shiloh and 8-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox, whom Jolie welcomed biologically.
A short time after Brad Pitt’s wife filed for divorce, another source claimed to Hollywood Life that their kids had been left “devastated” by the news of their divorce. The insider also stated that the children were “begging” their mother to get back with Pitt.
“She is a long way from calling off the divorce, but is no longer in a rush to get everything finalized,” the first Hollywood Life source continued. “Angelina didn’t realize how much she would miss him but now that [Brad Pitt] is out of her daily life, she misses his sense of humor and seeing him everyday.”
“The ice between he and Angie is starting to thaw,” and “there does seem to be a glimmer of hope,” the source added.
In addition to calming the tension between them, Jolie is reportedly also backing off from her aggressive divorce strategies.
“After looking bad in the court of public opinion, Angelina is backing off her aggressive divorce tactics,” a source explained to Hollywood Life on October 22. “She wanted to expose the truth about [Brad Pitt] being not as sweet and innocent as his fans think but she didn’t anticipate such a backlash from close friends and family.”

Following Jolie’s filing, Brad Pitt was accused of having issues with alcohol, drugs, and anger. He has also been tied to claims of child abuse due to his alleged fight with his teen son. According to reports, Brad Pitt was drunk during a flight from France to Los Angeles and during a short stop in Minnesota, he reportedly made contact with Maddox who attempted to intervene during a yelling match between Pitt and Jolie. Since then, the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services has been looking into the incident and attempting to gain more information before closing the case.
“Angelina’s trusted advisors have pleaded with her to be more gentle in handling the separation and divorce. Those close to her have also convinced Angie that if she continues to go hard after [Brad Pitt], the biggest losers will be the people she cares most about, their kids,” the source added. “Her main goal has always been protecting her children.”
