Cara Delevingne’s Tattoo Obsession, And The Time She Was Rejected By Taylor Swift’s Cat

Cara Delevingne, the English actress who played the intriguing Enchantress in Suicide Squad, is known to have an affinity towards weird tattoos.

Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress is regarded as one of the creepiest figures in the DC Universe due to not only her sorceress-like ability to manipulate things with her magical powers, but also her rather weird look. However, it appears that this English fashion model turned actress loves to adhere to the weirdness of her onscreen personalities, proven by the strange tattoo designs she has etched on her skin. Elle magazine reports that the model hired Bang Bang, the New York-based tattoo artist, to carve a weird design on the back of her neck.

The design consists of a pair of eyes that appear to follow the person looking at them. To date, Cara Delevingne has inked up to 20 tattoo designs on her body. Her strange obsession with tattoos started in 2013 when Bang Bang inked a tattoo of a lion on her index figure.

Earlier, Cara Delevingne’s weird side was encouraged by Margot Robbie, her co-star in Suicide Squad, who had inked a tattoo on Cara’s toes. According to Entertainment Tonight, the model loves to boldly flaunt her tattoos in both her film work and modeling projects.

Cara Delevingne has prominently displayed her tattoos when modeling for handbag advertising campaigns for Tag Heuer and Mulberry, and now it seems her tattoos have impressed other fashion models who’ve also etched similar designs on their bodies while performing on the catwalk for Giamba. Even though the reason behind Cara Delevingne’s tattoo addiction is unknown, it’s believed the actress’s tattoos represent her feelings and emotions associated with a number of things. For instance, the “Made in England” tattoo inscribed on her left foot reveals the frustration she felt in show business during the earlier days of her career. While taking baby steps in the entertainment industry, Cara Delevingne says that she felt like an English doll, required to perform as per the wishes of a film’s stakeholders.

Apart from having tattoos on her arms and feet, the popular model also has a diamond tattoo inked inside her right ear. Her tattoos clearly reveal that the Paper Town actress has a penchant for experiencing the throbbing pain brought about by the use of a tattoo needle on the skin.

Besides being passionate about tattooing, Cara Delevingne also relies on some bizarre techniques to get into the skin of the character she’s portraying. While promoting Suicide Squad, Cara revealed that she relied on the mysterious Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) hypnotic technique to get herself into the right state of mind to portray Enchantress. The actress revealed it’s the ear-to-ear whispering that triggers ASMR and makes a person go into a hypnotic state.

The ecstatic hypnotic state is brought about by experiencing tingling sensations that originate behind the head and travel throughout the body. It appears that Cara Delevingne also relies on animal therapy to invoke ASMR to relax because the actress was recently relaxing in bed with Olivia Benson, Taylor Swift’s cat, who was busy sniffing and feeling her face.

Funny animal sounds and behaviors like sniffing and rubbing are known to make people relax and feel good due to the invocation of ASMR. However, Popcrush reports that Olivia did not enjoy pampering the model and the cat quickly jumped out of bed in the midst of Cara Delevingne’s ecstatic relaxation session.

It appears that Cara Delevingne’s tattoos and beliefs are as mysterious as both her previous and forthcoming films. Previously, the actress featured in London Fields, a film based on a murder mystery, and very soon fans can expect to see her in a space mystery titled Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
