Kim Kardashian Not Making ‘KUWTK’ Return: Show Facing Cancellation?

Kim Kardashian is refusing to make her return to Keeping Up with the Kardashians, putting the entire production in jeopardy since execs are hoping to begin shooting for the forthcoming season later this year.

The Kardashians have often admitted that they “never really take a break” from filming for their famous reality shows, but following the robbery fiasco that took place in Paris just three weeks ago, Kim demanded that production be halted until she feels good enough to be on camera again.

Sources for Hollywood Life, however, are now stressing that Kim Kardashian is strongly considering the idea of lengthening the show’s hiatus because she’s in no way ready to get back to having a camera crew following her life so soon after the infamous incident that almost saw Kardashian lose her life.

An insider reveals that Kim Kardashian is still very much scared to even leave her home, Us Weekly alleged, having spent the last couple of weeks in hiding at her home in Bel-Air. Things are so bad for the 36-year-old, she allegedly didn’t even want to celebrate her birthday this week.

“Kim [Kardashian] is not ready to return to the show and discuss what happened in Paris. It’s way too soon,” Hollywood Life‘s sources reveal. “She’s not sure yet if she’s going to do a one-on-one interview with someone like Ryan Seacrest or talk about it on the show.”

“She’s still healing and that’s going to take a long time. Plus Kanye [West] has been encouraging her to take things slow and to not talk about what happened until she’s good and ready. He’s also been telling Kris [Jenner] not to force her into giving any interviews until he gives the OK.”

It’s also said that Kim Kardashian is losing more than $1 million per month with the hiatus she has now taken from social media and any other business endeavors that would usually see her make endless red carpet events and other public appearances.

But, as previously mentioned, Kim doesn’t care about money right now. Kardashian’s priority is getting back to a point where she feels confident enough to leave her home, and from what has been gathered, she’s nowhere near that stage yet.

On top of that, Kardashian is also said to be using her time away from social media to focus on her family life. Her biggest fear during the robbery incident was her children, whom she was glad not to have taken to Paris with her on the night she found herself gagged and held at gunpoint.

Kim Kardashian is very much aware that people are eagerly waiting for her to speak out about the events that took place in France, but she’s taking one step at a time, laying particular importance on her health and her children.

The E! network is expected to air the remaining episodes of KUWTK from today, but as far as the next series is concerned, there will most certainly be a delay in the production stages for that since Kim Kardashian is very much known to be the main reason why viewers tune in.

Without Kim, producers don’t think that the ratings will continue to hit a certain number when it comes to the show’s ratings, which is why execs over at the E! network, along with Kris Jenner, are giving the mother of two as much time as she needs before shooting resumes.
