NFL Scores: Indianapolis Colts Star Andrew Luck Still Perfect Against Tennessee Titans

If it was up to Andrew Luck, then the Indianapolis Colts would be playing the Tennessee Titans on a weekly basis. The former Stanford Cardinal quarterback has yet to lose a game against this particular AFC South rivalry. On Sunday, the Colts defeated the Titans by a score of 34-26 in a comeback, as reported by ESPN.

In 2012, Andrew Luck was the first overall selection in the NFL Draft. Since then, he has played against the Tennessee Titans eight different times. Luck came out victorious in every single instance. That type of dominance is rare to find in the National Football League.

Andrew Luck provided fantasy football owners with a great Sunday. He produced 353 passing yards to go along with the three touchdown passes that he threw. The Tennessee Titans simply did not have an answer for Luck, which made it much easier for the Indianapolis Colts to secure the victory.

TY Hilton has not had a great season, but against the Tennessee Titans, he looked like a top NFL star once again. Despite issues with his hip, the 26-year-old managed to catch seven receptions for 133 passing yards. Hilton was an extremely reliable target for Andrew Luck on Sunday.

The Tennessee Titans were on the verge of turning around their season. It was not too long ago that they were sitting on a 1-3 record. With two victories in a row, the Titans became relevant again in the NFL. The loss to the Indianapolis Colts sets them back to 3-4, which is not the end of the world.

Marcus Mariota is still a young quarterback that has much to learn in the NFL. This game against the Indianapolis Colts might affect his confidence a bit. Mariota had a chance to lead the Tennessee Titans to victory, but he fumbled the ball that led to a touchdown by the Colts with a little under two minutes to go.

For the game, Marcus Mariota produced two touchdowns and zero interceptions. The Tennessee Titans coaching staff will try to boost his confidence by pointing out those two stats. However, he was outplayed by Andrew Luck, who had three touchdowns and 353 passing yards.

Frank Gore made some headlines recently when he revealed his frustrations over the possibility of not making it to the NFL Playoffs. The veteran running back made it seemed like he regretted his decision to sign with the Indianapolis Colts in free agency. Gore had to be quite pleased with this victory.

Frank Gore’s counterpart with the Tennessee Titans had a pretty good day. DeMarco Murray ran the ball 25 times and put up 107 rushing yards. That was good enough for a touchdown. Murray played well enough to where Derrick Henry was limited to just one carry.

On Sunday, Delanie Walker once again proved that he was worth every penny that the Tennessee Titans paid him. He has been a very good security blanket for Marcus Mariota. The veteran tight end had seven receptions for 84 passing yards and a touchdown. Walker only missed one ball that was thrown towards him.

With the loss, the Tennessee Titans drop to 3-4, which puts them behind the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans. They only have one fewer win than the Texans, who are surprisingly in the lead in the AFC South even though new quarterback Brock Osweiler has underperformed since signing a big contract in free agency.

The Indianapolis Colts now have a 3-4 record after the victory, which means that they can still turn around the season. There is still a very good chance that Andrew Luck can turn things around and overtake the Houston Texans.
