‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Bringing Back ‘Prostitution Whore’ Danielle Staub To Save The Franchise?

Danielle Staub is one of the most infamous women to ever grace the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

From her shocking exit after Season 2 to her epic fights with Teresa Giudice – which included a table flipping incident – Staub’s actions are legendary amongst fans.

With the series hurting in the viewer department, are producers bringing her back to boost ratings?

E! News is reporting that rumors of Staub’s return were heightened after Giudice posted a few images of her and Staub doing yoga together.

Yes, this is the same Staub that Giudice once chased off stage during a reunion and called a “prostitution whore.”

“Loved catching up this am & bonding with @daniellestaub,” she wrote alongside the Twitter post.

Of course, Cohen immediately retweeted the image and added, “Wowza!”

According to TMZ, Staub’s history on the show includes plenty of drama with Giudice.

Based on their recent yoga session together, however, it looks like the two women made up and are now friends.

“We had a lot of fun!” Giudice told Radar Online. “Much more to come I’m sure.”

Is this a sign that Staub is returning to the series? Or is Giudice simply getting back at Jacqueline Laurita?

For now, it sounds like Giudice is just making amends with an old enemy, though a future appearance on the show isn’t out of the question.

“It just happened!” she continued. “She reached out to me and it’s really organic and very natural and all along it always had to be Teresa and I.”

Not only are the two women now friends, but Giudice has high hopes for their newfound relationship.

“I think it’s a re-bonding and rekindling of an old friendship, but it’s much overdue!… It’s so fresh. I wasn’t anticipating this. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with her. I’m super happy about it.”

Giudice added that she and Staub have more in common than people think.

The reality star is also excited about what the future holds for their friendship and is happy to pursue whatever happens next.

Giudice’s comments are surprising, especially considering what Staub said about her this past summer after Teresa’s stint in prison.

“As far as I can tell she hasn’t changed at all,” Staub admitted. “I mean most people find God. She found yoga. Are you serious?”

Whatever happens between the two, fans are undoubtedly excited about the prospects of Staub making a return to the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

This wouldn’t be the first time a former Housewives rejoined a franchise after time off.

Bethenny Frankel returned to the Real Housewives of New York two seasons ago and helped boost the ratings in the process.

Sheree Whitfield is doing the same on the Real Housewives of Atlanta and is keeping the drama up despite NeNe Leakes’ final departure.

Considering Staub’s rich history on RHONJ, her return would definitely result in a spike in the drama department.

“The Housewives are like the mafia, once you’re in you’re in. I always love the idea of a dramatic return,” Cohen said when asked about Staub’s return. “Look, I never say never. I never say never.”

Speaking of Cohen, Bravo is reporting that the host is actually the one who got the ball rolling between Giudice and Staub.

“He asked me about [Danielle] at the reunion, so I DMed her on Twitter and she answered me back, and she said, ‘You want to get together?’ and I said, ‘Do you do yoga?’ and she said, ‘Yes,’ and then we just met at a yoga studio, and we did some yoga together,” she explained.

Giudice was also asked about what she and Staub discussed during their yoga session.

“We talked about a lot. Not too much, because I had to go, but it was good. We aired some stuff out,” she said.

The biggest disappointment about their get together is that no cameras were on hand to capture the moment.

Hopefully, that will change if Staub is asked to return to the show next season.

In the meantime, Jennifer Taddei, the owner of the yoga club in question, recently sat down with NJ and talked about the epic reunion.

“They looked at each other like, ‘Can you believe this?’ It was very authentic. I was witness to something very genuine,” she revealed.

After the class ended, Giudice and Staub stayed behind and talked for a long time in the studio.

Taddei revealed that they talked about many different subjects, including former RHONJ star Caroline Manzo.

Before Staub left for the day, Taddei told Staub that she hopes to see her on RHONJ soon.

“Oh, you will,” Staub responded.

We can only hope.

Fans can watch all the drama unfold when new episodes of the Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday nights on Bravo.
