Brad Pitt: Angelina Jolie Is An ‘Evil Snake’ Who ‘Ambushed’ Pitt, Longtime Friend Says

Could Angelina Jolie have ambushed Brad Pitt ahead of the divorce filing?

That’s exactly what one industry insider — and a longtime friend of Brad’s — believes happened to the 52-year-old actor and father of six.

According to Radar Online, Cheryl Holton and Brad Pitt met during the late 1980s when then-23-year-old Brad had a small part on the TV show Dallas. During four episodes of the show, which aired in 1987 and 1988, Pitt played the love interest of actress Shalane McCall, who was 15 years old at the time. McCall is the daughter of Cheryl Holton.

During that time, Holton got to know Brad pretty well, she told Radar Online, and she absolutely believes that Pitt has been set up by his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie.

“She probably went to a lawyer and asked what did she need to do to get physical custody of the kids and, [the lawyer] told her to provoke him. She had a house [where she has been staying with the children since the news broke] already rented. She put this whole scenario together quite a while ago. What a snake!”

When she speaks of provocation, Holton is likely referring to the incident aboard the private jet of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt when Brad reportedly was involved in an altercation with his oldest son, 15-year-old Maddox.

According to reports, Brad and Angelina had been having an argument when Maddox stepped in to try to calm his parents. What happened next is unclear, though reports indicated that Brad was investigated by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Family Services on allegations of child abuse.

Of the alleged altercation, Holton told Radar Online that Brad “wouldn’t harm a fly. He will always put the best interests of his kids first, and he will always be a good father to them, I am very sure of that.”

Together, Brad and Angelina have six children: Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Holton went on to say that the way the entire divorce has played out in the public eye makes it obvious to Holton that Jolie is behind the alleged ambush.

“I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. But knowing how close to the chest he holds his cards, how private he is, it had to be her.

“To me she has just made herself a Hollywood cliché — the completely transparent, lying, hateful evil partner and diminished herself in the eyes of the world.”

News broke that Angelina had filed for divorce on Sept. 20. The couple had been married for more than two years and had been in a relationship for more than 12 years.

Holton admits that it has been many years since she met Brad back in the late 1980s, but the 66-year-old told Radar Online that the Pitt she met way back then is the same Pitt she knows today.

“I have seen no change in him over the years since – he’s always been the same Brad through and through. I’ve never seen any dramatic changes in him at all. He’s stayed steady. He’s a very laid back guy. I feel it would take a lot to set him off, and I’ve never seen it happen or heard of anyone else talk about him getting angry. I’m not here to flatter anyone. This is just the truth.”
