‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13, Episode 6: Is Karev Getting Fired, Will Jo And DeLuca Hook Up, And What About Amelia’s Negative Pregnancy Test?
For Grey’s Anatomy fans who just can’t get enough of Season 13, photos, the promo trailer, the synopsis, and other tidbits of information regarding what fans can expect from Episode 6, titled “Roar,” have been released.
A surprise visitor from the past is going to pop up at some point in time during Season 13 of Grey’s Anatomy. Will Episode 6 finally be with this happens?
International Business Times reports the synopsis for Episode 6 of Season 13 titled “Roar” claims the visitor from the past is going to bring up some old feelings and “throw many of the doctors for a loop.” While there hadn’t been any indication as to who this blast from the past was going to be, fans have speculated it might be Izzie or Christina Yang. While either one of those choices would certainly bring up some old feelings for Meredith and Alex, the photos ABC that has released for Episode 6 of Season 13 have revealed the blast from the past will be none other than Tessa Ferrer, who some people may remember as Leah Murphy.
As Grey’s Anatomy fans may remember, Leah Murphy ended up being written out of the show when Dr. Webber had a conversation with her one-on-one to inform her that he didn’t think she had what it takes to be a surgeon. Chances are pretty good fans also remember Leah was the intern who had a romantic relationship with Arizona Robbins. Leah was also the intern who filed a harassment complaint against Callie, claiming Callie was making her work environment hostile. The report resulted in a change in policies regarding co-workers being allowed to date each other, which shook things up for a number of people, especially Jo and Alex. Meredith, however, found a loophole via a love contract that made it possible for Jo and Alex to continue to date – even though the relationship ended up not working out too well after a few seasons.

And, let’s not forget the decision Alex made to violently attack DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) during the Season 12 finale. This unfortunate decision on Alex’s part is going to rear its head again in Episode 6 of Season 13 of Grey’s Anatomy as Catherine (Debbie Allen) starts to pressure Bailey (Chandra Wilson) to make a decision about the future of Karev at Grey-Sloan. Currently, Alex is stuck working shifts at the clinic that his ex-wife Izzie helped establish. It is currently unclear as to whether or not Bailey wants to let Karev go. Catherine, however, is certainly pushing for her to find a replacement for Alex Karev. Naturally, Grey’s Anatomy fans have their fingers crossed that Karev is going to get to keep his job as he and Meredith are the only original interns left in the show.
While Bailey is forced to wrestle with making a tough management decision regarding Karev, Amelia is having a bad day after learning she is not actually pregnant. Things get worse when a tough and complicated case comes through the emergency room.
Most Grey’s Anatomy fans are starting to accept the fact that there may be no hope for the relationship between Alex and Jo at this point. The question is – are DeLuca and Jo going to hook up? Will it be just a one-time hook up or is this going to be the beginning of another relationship at Grey-Sloan Memorial?
Let’s not forget Meredith continues to push Riggs away. Could there be an opening for Alex and Meredith to become more than just friends, or is Meredith going to eventually give in to the chemistry she and Riggs clearly have?
