Ciara Pregnant With Russell Wilson’s Baby: Seattle Seahawks’ Quarterback To Become First-Time Father

Singer Ciara and her Seattle Seahawks quarterback husband, Russell Wilson, are expecting their first child together, according to E! News. Ciara appeared Tuesday night at Refinery hotel in New York City as Revlon’s newest global brand ambassador and many observers claimed that it looked as if she was trying to conceal a baby bump, which, apparently, she was.

“Ciara is pregnant and is so excited to be a mom,” a source told E! News. “Russell [Wilson] would like to have two to three children. They both would like a big family.”

Ciara is already the mother to two-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn, who she had with her ex-fiance Future. The two split up back in 2014, while Wilson and Ciara began dating in the summer of 2015, and then tied the knot on July 6, 2016, in a lavish wedding in England. Wilson reportedly loves playing the role of stepdad to little Future.

“It’s a blessing. He’s such a special kid and he’s so smart. He’s active as can be. He loves sports—loves running around,” he told E!‘s Sibley Scoles. “I love kids. She does, too, and hopefully God willing..as long as they’re healthy, that’s what we pray for whether it’s a boy or girl—who knows—but we’ve got some time for that.”

Russell Wilson and Ciara famously decided to remain celibate while they were dating as it was important to Wilson, who is a devout Christian, to do it the right way.

“I asked her, ‘What would you do if we took all that other stuff off the table and did it Jesus’ way, no sex?'” Wilson said during an interview at The Rock Church in San Diego. “I knew God had brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me and to bless so many people with the impact that she has and I have. We’re not going to be perfect, by any means.”

Ciara told Cosmopolitan back in February that it wasn’t easy keeping her hands off her man.

“We’re hanging in there. I’m not gonna lie,” Ciara said. “I’m human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen — that I’ve ever laid my eyes on, to be honest. I’m like, ‘Look the other way!'”

Ciara’s last album was released in May 2015, which is also the last time that she went on tour, and the record tanked. The “I Bet” singer cancelled all of her remaining 2016 tour dates back in February as she announced that she was heading back into the studio to work on another album. In August, the Inquisitr reported that Ciara parted ways with L.A Reid’s Epic Records and signed on with Friends At Work, which already features singers Alicia Keys and John Legend.

As for Russell Wilson, he’s led the the Seattle Seahawks to a 4-1 record so far in 2016 as he’s completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 1,334 yards with five touchdowns and only one interception. The Seahawks travel to the desert in Week 7 to square off with their division rivals, the Arizona Cardinals, on Sunday night Football.
