Kris Jenner Looking To Represent Honey Boo Boo Clan [Report]

Kris Jenner of Kardashian infamy is reportedly looking to book Honey Boo Boo Child and family.

Though Jenner once said that Honey Boo Boo’s mom June ‘Mama Bear’ Thompson is “classless” and only looking to cash in on her daughter by putting her on TV (read: pot calling the kettle black), the potential earning power of the Honey Boo Boo clan has apparently inspired a change of heart in the Kardashian matriarch. Recent rumors suggest that Jenner is looking to manage the Thompson clan, and what with her reality TV know-how and all, get a piece of the Honey Boo Boo phenomenon’s pie all to herself.

Hollywood Life reports:

“According to a recent report in Star magazine, Kris is trying to convince the Thompson family to meet with her to discuss her big plans for them. ‘Kris realized that they could be a gold mine,’ an insider tells the magazine. ‘The Thompsons don’t really have any professional representation outside of TLC, and Kris thinks she can get them some serious endorsements and more money from the network. They’re getting a fraction of what Kate Gosselin got.’ But after calling June ‘classless’, will she get the chance to redeem herself? Knowing how shrewd Kris is, they will soon have a special called The Kardashians Meet The Honey Boo Boo’s.”

If the report is true, it’s probably going to be a tough sell, Kris. Not only do you have virtually nothing to offer Honey Boo Boo and co., may we remind that this is the family that has denied TLC’s offer to move them into a bigger, better home and various other fame-bribes.

It’s an uphill battle, but if Kris Jenner is really dead-set on the manager-ship, she should probably just be dead-honest. “Hey, I don’t understand you guys, but there’s money here. Can I come in?” I reckon they’ll appreciate that.
