Selena Gomez Is ‘Miserable’ In Rehab After Jennifer Aniston Visit?
Is Selena Gomez struggling with her rehabilitation plan just weeks into treatment?
Earlier this week, In Touch Weekly alleged that Selena Gomez was “miserable” as she endured Brookhaven’s “intense” treatment program after announcing her struggles with anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.
“[Selena Gomez] absolutely hates it there,” a source told the magazine on October 19.
Selena Gomez announced she had been struggling with symptoms of Lupus at the end of August, weeks after her final Revival World Tour concert in Auckland, New Zealand and weeks after she and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, were involved in a very public feud with one another on Instagram.
Following her show and the fight, which were believed to have taken place within hours of one another, Selena Gomez announced she would be taking some time off and in the weeks since, she has been treating her physical and mental symptoms of Lupus. Unfortunately, as the In Touch Weekly source explained, Selena Gomez hasn’t been having a great time.
“When the actual effects of detoxing hit [Selena Gomez’s] body, she started complaining… Selena keeps saying she feels like hell and wants to leave the facility or go switch to outpatient treatment. Everyone is worried,” the source explained.

While Selena Gomez may not be enjoying her time at Brookhaven at this moment, she has had a few good times with her family in recent weeks. In fact, Selena Gomez reportedly got a very special visitor recently.
“[Selena Gomez is] allowed a limited number of visitors a day, but she got the surprise of her life when [Jennifer Aniston] showed up,” Celebs Now revealed to readers days ago. “She’s incredibly supportive of Selena and knows she must be feeling awful, getting caught up in the Brangelina divorce drama. Seeing Jen was exactly what Selena needed. She’s so funny and sweet and she really cheered her up.”
Selena Gomez was also spotted with a few people earlier this month at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant near her rehab facility, where she posed for a number of social media photos with her many fans.
“[Selena Gomez]’s been going through hell with anxiety and depression over her lupus and Jen wanted to let her know everyone was rooting for her,” the Celebs Now source continued. “She even turned up with a card signed by all their friends back home in LA.”

According to the report, Selena Gomez and Jennifer Aniston met one another at a party in December 2014 and have remained close ever since. In one particular interview, Selena Gomez discussed her special relationship with Aniston, revealing she often offers her maternal advice.
“We met through my management so it was kind of like a friendly meeting and instantly she’s, like, inviting me to her house,” Selena Gomez said of her meeting with the Friends actress, via Celebs Now. “She has a pizza oven. Like, we’ve made pizzas at her house. She’s very cool and very sweet. She kind of gives me a lot of maternal advice.”
Oddly, earlier this year, Selena Gomez was linked to her friend Jennifer Aniston’s ex-husband after she innocently shared a photo of the two of them on her Instagram page. In the photo, Selena Gomez and Brad Pitt, who starred alongside one another in The Big Short, were seen sitting beside one another on a couch during the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.
Selena Gomez canceled her tour months early and has not yet revealed whether or not she will follow through with her scheduled performances at a later date.
