Taylor Swift, Ben Affleck Dating Amid Jennifer Garner Split? His Daughters ‘Starstruck’ By The Singer

Are Taylor Swift and Ben Affleck both in the mood for rebound romances? That’s the rumor as the “Blank Space” singer allegedly is interested in filling her blank dating time with Jennifer Garner’s estranged husband. Amid the potential drama of Taylor and Ben hooking up comes the report that his daughters are “starstruck” by the sexy singer.

Anyone who’s met a celebrity and found themselves speechless will relate to how Affleck’s little girls responded to the sight of Taylor. Ben shared that he introduced his two daughters to the singer and watched his “starstruck” youngsters try to cope with their excitement, reported Us Weekly.

Affleck’s daughters, Violet, 10, and Seraphina, 7, were in awe when Ben introduced them, and he recalled the meeting.

“I introduced my two girls to Taylor Swift. It was like God came down and walked on water.”

The speechless children “didn’t say a thing,” admitted Affleck, describing them as “totally frozen.” Ben introduced Violet and Seraphina to the “Shake It Off” singer following her 1989 world tour concert in Los Angeles in August 2015. The meeting occurred just two months after Ben and Jennifer Garner revealed that they were separating. They also have a 4-year-old son, Samuel.

As for the status of Affleck’s and Garner’s relationship since splitting, the two enjoyed a dinner date just last month at Sam’s by the Beach in Los Angeles. Jennifer subsequently explained that she and Ben want to be good role models for their children.

“I don’t think empathy is something you can drill in someone’s head,” pointed out Garner. “You have to have faith that while your kids can seem to be selfish and concerned only about the word ‘mine’ sometimes, overall, they are watching you really carefully, and if you care about other people, they will too.”

Does that mean that there’s a possibility of a rekindled romance, or are the two definitely done, with Affleck available for a rebound romance with Taylor? Neither Jennifer nor Ben has formally filed for divorce. An insider told Us that Affleck and Garner are in a fluctuating relationship status.

“Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed,” clarified the source. “It does not seem to be moving in that direction. Jen seems to still be in love with Ben but doesn’t allow her mind to go there. She just focuses on the kids.”

As for where the rumors that Affleck is dating Swift originated, AceShowbiz cited In Touch‘s report that the “Shake It Off” singer has set “her sights on Ben.” And it’s allegedly mutual, with Affleck “totally blown away by Taylor’s beauty and charming personality” when he met her backstage last year at a 1989 World Tour concert.

That’s when Ben reportedly got a pal to play Cupid, a source told In Touch.

“Ben asked…Cara Delevingne to put them in touch. [Taylor has] made it clear to Ben that she’s interested – and Taylor always gets what she wants.”

In addition, the insider revealed that the two started with a “friendship” and “innocent texts.” However, their relationship then went to the next level.

“The pair soon struck up a friendship. It started off as innocent texts, but those messages have become much more flirtatious, especially after Taylor split from Tom [Hiddleston],” shared the source.

As for where it goes from there, Swift reportedly is interested in transforming their relationship “into a full-blown romance,” with Affleck allegedly “on board,” even though he is legally still married to Jennifer, according to the insider.

“[Ben has] had a crush on Taylor since they first met and feels like they have a real connection. He’s slowly paving a way for a romance.”

Is all this so true or so false? Put the reports that Affleck is romancing Swift in the “not true” category, according to Gossip Cop.

Referring to the In Touch story headlined “Taylor Sets Her Sights On Ben,” Gossip Cop investigated and confirmed with multiple insiders that a romance involving Swift and Affleck is fiction. Regardless of whether fans of the alleged romance try to come up with a cute nickname (Swiftleck? Benlor?), the romantic relationship is non-existent, according to those sources.
