Selena Gomez Caught Smoking At Tennessee Rehab? She’s Still Facing Drug Rumors

Is Selena Gomez a smoker?

According to a new report, Selena Gomez was caught smoking at a Tennessee women’s only rehab facility days ago.

In photos shared by the Daily Mail on October 18, Selena Gomez was seen in a white hoodie while other photos showed a partial image of a woman with a cigarette in her hand. In the description of the images, as seen below, Selena Gomez was named as the woman smoking cigarette.

Although it may have seemed that the hand photographed with the cigarette belonged to Selena Gomez, an online message to fans suggested that it was actually someone else at the facility.

Selena Gomez officially announced the end of her Revival World Tour on August 30 with a statement to People Magazine.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Selena Gomez told the magazine in her statement. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues,” she continued.

Around the time Selena Gomez released her statement to the magazine, allegations of drug use began to swirl, claiming Gomez was dealing with addictions struggles, not mental health issues. According to a Radar Online report, Selena Gomez had been mixing prescription medications, including Lunesta, Ambien, Klonopin, and Xanax.

In response to the drug use rumors, People Magazine’s source said the singer was absolutely not being treated for drugs or alcohol. Instead, they claimed, Gomez’s decision to seek help was due to her not feeling like herself in recent months. The source also said that Selena Gomez was excited about her future and feeling positive about her time off and the impact it would have on her future.

Last week, Us Weekly shared details of the singer’s chosen facility outside of the Nashville area, revealing the venue was a “private and quiet” place that was only for women and included an intense treatment plan.

“[Selena Gomez] is dealing with lupus, but this break is to focus on her mental health,” a source close to Gomez revealed to the magazine. “She can go to a very dark place.”

In the weeks since Selena Gomez entered rehab, she has been spotted outside the facility on several occasions. First, Gomez, her mother, and her stepfather were seen having dinner at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant, where the singer graciously posed with fans. Then, she was seen having breakfast with her grandparents at another restaurant nearby.

Selena Gomez has also been seen hanging with fellow patients outside of the venue and with a group of women at an arcade in the area.

Selena Gomez’s final Revival World Tour took place on August 13 in Auckland, New Zealand. No word yet on whether or not Selena Gomez will reschedule her canceled shows.
