‘Big Brother: Over The Top’ Spoilers: Week 3 POV Ceremony Puts Backdoor Plan In Motion, Danielle and Shane Showmance At Risk, Halloween Costumes Chosen By ‘BBOTT’ Crew

On Tuesday, the tide seemed to change in the Big Brother: Over the Top house, as the cast member who was the original target for eviction in Week 3 may now be safe, and a backdoor plan could see another houseguest head out the door.

In the midst of this chaos, the showmance between Danielle Lickey and Shane Chapman, nicknamed “Shanielle,” is almost certain to end Wednesday night, as one of them will likely be sent packing.

It should be noted that Scott Dennis is the Week 3 Head of Household (HOH). After his Safety Ceremony was complete, Kryssie Ridolfi and Neeley Jackson were his nominees for eviction.

Scott was also voted by the Big Brother: Over the Top viewing audience to receive America’s Care Package, which entailed an advantage called Pick-A-Veto. This advantage gave Scott the ability to choose which veto of three different vetoes the winner of Week 3’s Power of Veto (POV) competition would receive. The Diamond Veto gave the winner the chance to remove a nominee from the block and choose a replacement nominee; the Double Veto ensured two people would win the Week 3 POV; and the Boomerang Veto allowed the winner to save two nominees from the block at the POV ceremony, according to Big Brother Network.

Scott chose the Double Veto, and on Monday, Alex Willett and Justin Duncan won the POV challenge. During the October 19 POV ceremony, Justin saved Kryssie from the eviction block, thus Scott was forced to choose a replacement nominee and informed Shane he would be taking Kryssie’s place.

Shane seemed to take his nomination well, but underlying anger could be seen on his face. He and Danielle sat on the eviction couch for a few minutes until Danielle decided to get up and go outside, proclaiming that she wasn’t going to let the other side of the house, who were up in the HOH room, stare at her via the HOH monitor while she was upset.

After the ceremony, according to Joker’s Updates, veteran Big Brother 17 player Jason Roy had a heart-to-heart discussion with Scott as they sat in the Big Brother: Over the Top backyard. Jason tried to talk Scott into convincing his allies that Danielle should be evicted Wednesday night, although it appears Scott wants Shane gone. Jason argued that Danielle is a better game player than Shane and should be evicted before her showmance partner, but Scott continued to opine that Shane is a very dangerous Big Brother player.

Later in the day, Scott and Justin spoke about the Big Brother: Over the Top game in the HOH room, as Justin confirmed he will vote to evict whoever Scott desires. Scott revealed the vote will probably be tied due to America’s Eviction Vote likely going to Danielle, noting a “tiebreaker would be cool and great TV,” reports Joker’s Updates.

As it stands in the Big Brother: Over the Top house at present, if Scott has it his way, Shane will be the next houseguest evicted from the game. Jason remains perplexed about this decision, made by Scott and his allies, believing that Danielle is a much bigger threat.

At this point, it is clear that unless the Big Brother: Over the Top house makes a major change in targets this week and decides to send Neeley home, the Danielle and Shane showmance is over – at least for now. Shane revealed to Neeley not long after the POV ceremony he wants to have a relationship with Danielle when the show is over.

As previously reported on by The Inquisitr, both the viewing public and cast members inside the Big Brother: Over the Top house are getting fed up with Shanielle. They have been seen on live feeds becoming loudly intimate in a room in which other houseguests are trying to sleep, which many viewers find disrespectful. Thus, it was inevitable that either Danielle or Shane would be leaving the Big Brother: Over the Top house sooner rather than later.

In lighter news, at around 4:07 p.m. Big Brother: Over the Top house time, cast members learned they would get to have some fun with Halloween costumes, according to Joker’s Updates.

Shane chose a vampire costume, Whitney Hogg will be wearing a devil outfit, Neeley chose to be a zombie nurse, Jason is a deadly doctor, Alex decided she’d be a mummy, Kryssie liked the creepy doll getup, Morgan Willett is to don a witch outfit, Shelby will be a Day of the Dead character, and Scott, who was the last to choose a costume, will be a werewolf.
