Drunk Guy Finds His Car Two Years Later

Have you ever woken up with a massive hangover and the inability to remember what you did the night prior? For one man in Germany, that scenario led to the disappearance of his car. Now two years after the car went missing, it has once again surfaced.

Bavarian police discovered the vehicle, which disappeared after the man engaged in a heavy night of drinking in December 2012.

The German man forget where he parked the car (not pictured above) and was never able to remember its location. The vehicle was eventually reported missing to Munich police.

Last month, a traffic warden in the area noticed a vehicle with expired inspection stickers. The vehicle was located 4 km from the spot where it was originally reported missing by the 33-year-old man.

Police spokesman Alexander Lorenz says of the long overdue discovery:

“The weird thing is that it turned up so far away, although the owner was pretty sure of where he had left it.”

The vehicle was not even the most expensive item to go missing; in the trunk of the vehicle was $51,600 worth of power drills and electric screwdrivers, which the craftsman uses for work.

Because he can’t remember the events leading up to the car’s loss, the man is not sure how it managed to end up miles away from where he was drinking.

The car has been returned with one condition: the owner must renew the vehicle’s expired inspection stickers before he drives it again.
