Perrie Edwards Slams Zayn Malik’s Bedroom Skills, Hints He’s A Bad Lover?

Perrie Edwards has become a hot topic thanks to Little Mix’s new song “Shout Out To My Ex.” Fans already assume that the lyrics are about her relationship with former One Direction member Zayn Malik. On Sunday night’s episode of The X Factor U.K., Perrie Edwards and her band Little Mix performed the new song live, for the whole world to see.

The 23-year-old singer put on an electrifying show in a sexy number. Edwards wore a nude bodysuit with a black duster and black corseted belt. She topped off her superhot look with thigh-high black boots. “Shout Out To My Ex” is said to be inspired by the girls’ previous relationships, including Edwards’ relationship with Malik, as reported via the Daily Mail.

Opening the performance, Perrie proudly sang, “This is a shout out to my ex, heard he in love with some other chick, yeah, yeah, that hurt me I’ll admit. Forget that boy, I’m over it, I hope she’s gettin’ better sex, Hope she ain’t fakin’ it like I did, babe.”

According to the Sun, the blonde singer is heard singing a lot of harsh things in the new single — which hints about the “Pillowtalk” singer’s poor bedroom skills.

In addition to the suggestive lyrics, Edwards is also said to be singing the line: “Guess I should say thank you, for the ‘hate yous’ and the tattoos, Oh baby I’m cool by the way, Ain’t sure I loved you anyway.”

According to the report, the line about the “tattoos” is the reference to Perrie’s face that Zayn had tattooed to his bicep when they were together in 2013. The singer has since gotten rid of the tattoo and replaced it with a phoenix. Zayn’s new girlfriend Gigi Hadid took to Snapchat to share a photo of his newly updated tattoo.

Little Mix’s new album is said to be autobiographical after Edwards revealed in an interview the album is a reflection of her and her bandmates’ personal lives. In an interview with Sugarscape, Edwards said that their new album is going a lot deeper than their previous album, Get Weird, did.

“It’s very – and I know we probably said this about the last album – honest. It’s very what’s been happening in the past few months or the past year. We’ve been through a lot personally, emotionally, and career-wise. Every aspect, we’ve wanted to just get off our chest and the best way to do it is with this album. That’s why we’re loving it so much. It’s like therapy.”

Zayn and Perrie were first linked as a couple back in 2011, according to E! Online. The two met on the set of The X Factor UK, when they were both with their bands. They got engaged in 2013 and ended their relationship in August, 2015, amid rumors that Zayn cheated on her. During that same year, he left One Direction in the middle of their On The Road Again world tour.

Edwards has been opening up about her split with the British heartthrob. She admits that she had a mini meltdown when he was the one to call it quits. Little Mix appeared on the U.K.’s iHeart Radio following the release of their new single, and she said she received a phone call from Malik that caused her to have the meltdown in the middle of the airport, as reported via E! Online.

“I was at the airport and I got an awful phone call…from someone. And then … I just … what did I … I just remember screaming in the airport.”

Her fellow bandmate Jade Thirwall, along with the rest of the group, were there to help get her through the split as they were in the middle of promoting their song “Black Magic.”

“[Perrie] had a little mini breakdown in the airport. It was in the security line and we thought ‘Oh God!'”

Jesy Nelson added that they had to shield her from the onlookers so no one would take photos of her breakdown.

“We literally just made a little shell huddle around her so that no one could see her and we were like, ‘It’s OK, just let it out.'”

“Shout Out To My Ex” is the first single from Little Mix’s new album, Glory Days, which is set for release this November.
