‘The Bachelor’s’ Ben Higgins A Cross-Dresser? Did Lauren Bushnell Find Him Wearing Her Clothes? [Video]
Ben Higgins shot to fame on Season 10 of ABC’s The Bachelor, where he fell in love with Lauren Bushnell, but it turns out that Ben has been keeping a big secret from his fiancé, and it may have something to do with him wearing Bushnell’s clothes.
Both Ben and Lauren appeared on the Fox daytime talk show The Real on October 18 to discuss their relationship and their new Freeform reality show Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? where Lauren admitted that she made a startling discovery about The Bachelor star.
The Real previewed a sneak peek of the October 18 episode of the reality show, where Higgins admitted to Bushnell, who he proposed to during the finale of Season 10 of The Bachelor earlier this year, that he had a big secret that she was yet to find out about him.
“Are there things that I don’t know about you?” Bushnell can be seen asking Ben in the Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? sneak peek, to which Ben replied, “Lauren, there’s one big thing that you don’t know about me yet.”

Though The Real’s sneak peek didn’t reveal exactly what the big secret was that Ben was about to reveal to Lauren in Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? Bushnell did tell the show’s hosts Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley that she had a pretty bizarre idea in her head as to what Higgins’ big secret was.
“Can I get a hint, just a little one?” Loni asked Lauren and Ben on the show before Bushnell revealed to the co-hosts exactly what she thought was Higgins’ was about to confess.
Lauren made a pretty bizarre admission on The Real, joking that she actually thought Higgins was about to reveal to her that he was a cross-dresser and had been wearing her clothes.
“What I thought it was…” Lauren revealed of Ben’s secret on The Real, “For some reason, my mind went to he was wearing my clothes!”
“I don’t know why,” Bushnell then continued of Higgins’ secret ahead of the premiere of the second episode of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? “Like my mind went to the worst case scenario.”
While The Bachelor fans will have to wait to see if Lauren Bushnell’s cross-dressing prediction for Ben Higgins actually came to fruition, Higgins’ admission that there are still things his fiancé doesn’t know about him comes just days after Ben admitted to E! News that he and Lauren were already undergoing couples counselling just months after finding love on the ABC reality dating show.
Ben told the site that “unexpected things” are set to happen in their relationship, before Higgins then revealed that going to therapy with Bushnell has actually been a “really good thing” for the couple.
“Unexpected things are going to happen in your relationships and life, and Lauren and I are still trying to get to know each other,” Ben admitted to the site. “We’re still finding out things about each other everyday and that’s where the question mark comes in.”
“It’s not if we’re happy or not,” Ben then continued of his life with Lauren post-The Bachelor, before adding that the two are “very happy” as they prepare for a wedding.
“There are things that will pop up that are unexpected,” Higgins then teased.
Though Ben and Lauren are yet to confirm their wedding date and if their big day will be broadcast on their Freeform reality show, Bushnell did admit that she and Higgins “definitely” have a wedding in their future, despite rumors suggesting that the two haven’t exactly been seeing eye to eye in recent weeks.
