Listen: Rolling Stones Release New Single ‘Doom And Gloom’ [Audio]


The Rolling Stones are back. The classic rock band released a new single today, Doom And Gloom, as part of the band’s 50th anniversary celebration.

The new song debuted on BBC Radio 2 this morning.

It was recorded in Paris and will be released on the band’s latest hits collection GRRR!. According to the BBC, the song is one of two brand new songs on the 50th anniversary collection. GRRR! will hit stores on November 12. Doom And Gloom is currently available for purchase.

And with new music comes new concerts. Keith Richards and sax player Bobby Keys confirmed that the Rolling Stones have booked a few shows in London and New York this November.

Keys said:

“[The Rolling Stones are] gonna do some more concerts, starting in November with two in England and then a couple here in the States, then there’s a few added concerts after that.”

According to the Huffington Post, Doom and Gloom is the first new song from the band in seven years.

The Rolling Stones have released dozens of albums, hundreds of singles, and won several Grammy awards during their 50 year career. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1989.
