Lindsay Lohan was seen grasping the Quran while walking the streets of New York City back in 2015. Lohan is now responding to the major backlash she received from American media outlets. Lohan claims she was seen as “Satan.” The Mean Girls star had been studying the Quran, leaving many to wonder if she would convert to Islam. The photo of Lohan wearing the hijab is everywhere, similar to the photo of her carrying the Quran, the interviewer notes. Lohan said she received the Quran from very close friends in London who were Saudi. At the time, Lohan was exploring different types of religion and spirituality.
“They made me feel like Satan. I was a bad person for holding that Quran.”

Lindsay Lohan said she was going through a lot of turmoil from things that happened to her in America. Lohan says her trials and tribulations extended over a 10-year span. Lohan says the Quran opened doors for her to explore another, “true meaning.”
“This is just me walking with it… the paparazzi was maybe across the street, I didn’t know. And they crucified me for it, in America. They made me seem like Satan. I was a bad person for holding that Quran. I was so happy to leave and go back to London after that. I felt so unsafe in my own country after this. People were like, horrible to me… Just because this is my belief. This is something I want to learn, this is my personal — from my own will. This is not for you to express.”

Lindsay Lohan And Charity: Lohan Visits Syrian Refugee Camp In Turkey
Lindsay Lohan made a trip to Turkey and was able to visit Syrian refugees, and she was seen wearing a hijab. Lohan wore the hijab out of respect for workers in the Syrian refugee camps in Nizip, near Turkey’s border.

According to Page Six, social media speculates Lohan’s “Turkish Mother Teresa” act is because she’s dating a “pro-government Turkish billionaire.”
“I am deeply moved and touched, I want to use it as a token of appreciation for the generosity and all the love I received from everyone in the camp. Thank you.”
Lohan says the Syrian refugee crisis was brought to her attention by the news.
Upon moving to London and away from toxic friends, Lohan says she was able to assess what she wanted out of life, and realized she wanted to work with children. Lohan says she did not go to the Syrian refugee camp for publicity or monetary gain.
“In London, we have the news…and Bloomberg all day, so this is what’s on my TV. I don’t have Access Hollywood and all these other shows. I don’t see this anymore. For four years now, I don’t see this. And, I love it.”
Lohan said people see her on the street in London, they keep walking because she is considered “old news.” Lindsay mentions if she goes to a restaurant and sees paparazzi, she begins to panic. LiLo said she’s not accustomed to them anymore and says they are a part of her past.
Lindsay is happy with her life in London, a source close to Lohan told People magazine.
“She sounds more humble and much more calm… I think it was good for her to get away from her family – and she has said [moving to London] was the best thing that ever happened.”

Lohan said she has always been involved in charity work since she was a child, even when filming for blockbuster films like, The Parent Trap and Mean Girls.
“My whole family has been [involved] charity my whole life.
“I love giving back to people and whether I’m doing a movie or not… I’ve done all these Disney movies and these are not real things, as much as I love it and appreciate it— I would love to play ‘The Little Mermaid’ one day, I want to talk about real things right now, I’m 30-years-old and things are going to keep going, I want to be able to control my life as I live it day by day—and this is how all of this came to happen.”
Lindsay Lohan Opens LOHAN Nightclub, Talks About Life In London
After traveling the world and getting involved in charity work, Lindsay is now the co-owner of LOHAN, nightclub in Greece. LOHAN opened Saturday night in Athens, Greece. LiLo’s guy friend, Dennis Papageorgiou, a Greek millionaire and restaurateur, named the hotspot after the Mean Girls star.

Papageorgiou is the sole owner of the restaurant/club, but is giving Lohan co-ownership rights and a large bulk of the profits. A representative for the LOHAN told sources that Lohan and her boyfriend are expecting “famous guests from Hollywood” at the Athenian debut, according to TMZ.
A LOHAN spokesperson tells TMZ that Papageorgiou came up with the nightclub idea in July, the same month Lohan split from ex-fiance, Egor Tarabasov. The night club’s decor resembles an “abandoned factory,” complete with a standard VIP area and a secluded VVIP area. Lohan is said to make appearances two or three times a month.

When Lohan isn’t visiting Syrian refugees or setting up shop for club LOHAN, she posts steamy photos on Instagram. Lohan posted a topless selfie to her Instagram account just two days after Donald Trump audio came out saying he thought she’d be great in bed, according to HollywoodGossip. Hours later, the Mean Girls actress removed the photo, replacing the picture with a photo of a club performance.
In the the deleted photo, Lohan was still rocking the emerald engagement ring she received from abusive ex-fiance, Egor Tarabasov. Lindsay later revealed Egor is broke and that she purchased the ring herself.
The troubled actress has not starred in a mainstream Hollywood film in years. Lohan has been arrested for drug possession, a DUI, and has spent time in a rehab center. In 2008, Lindsay revealed that she was bisexual and began dating a British DJ by the name of Samantha Ronson. Lindsay Lohan started getting her life on track as headlines of the relationship made news across the country. In 2009, Ronson and Lohan broke it off. Lohan then turned back to dating guys and partaking in drugs and alcohol, according to the website Hollywood Gossip.
During Lohan’s thriving film career, Lindsay launched a music career in 2004, releasing her debut album, Speak. Lohan decided to dip into the products industry, launching a self-tanning spray line called, Sevine Nyne. Still not satisfied, Lohan decided to try her hand in the fashion industry and became an artistic designer for Ungaro. Acting is still on the table for the starlet; Lohan had a supporting role in the action film, Machete.
