JoJo Fletcher Denies Knowing Anything About Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell’s Reality Show Even Though She’s In It

JoJo Fletcher is totally over Ben Higgins; so much so that she doesn’t even pay attention to his new reality show, even though she appears on the program. After the premiere of Higgins’ new Freeform reality series, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After, Fletcher revealed that she hadn’t seen the show and didn’t know anything about it, according to Us Weekly.

“We were on a flight from L.A. to Dallas that night,” Fletcher said of the Ben & Lauren premiere, according to Us Weekly. “Did anyone watch it? I don’t know anything about it.”

Fletcher was one of two women that Higgins declared his love for on his season of The Bachelor, but in the end, he chose Lauren Bushnell and left JoJo broken hearted. Fletcher went on to find her own fiancé when she starred as The Bachelorette and accepted a proposal from Jordan Rodgers, but fans of the Freeform show were left with the impression that feelings remain between Fletcher and Higgins.

Fletcher’s Bachelor bestie, Becca Tilley, took to Twitter to slam the suggestion that her pal still carries a torch for Higgins.

“Pretty sure JoJo is over Ben. Pretty sure Ben is over JoJo. Pretty sure Lauren & JoJo are friends. And pretty sure producers pushed that,” Tilley tweeted.

Fletcher later replied to her friend with: “@beccatilley5 & I’m pretty sure you’re right Rebecca!”

While JoJo claims to know nothing about Ben and Lauren’s reality show, she was the main subject of the premiere episode. And the next episode will feature JoJo, Ben, and their fiancées out together on a lunch date.

The unlikely foursome met up at Katsuya in Hollywood earlier this year to shoot the scene, according to Daily Mail, where they dined on rock shrimp and crispy rice. Onlookers reported that Ben told JoJo how happy he was that she had found Jordan.

JoJo Fletcher took some time after her split with Higgins to reflect on their doomed relationship and then went full throttle into The Bachelorette starring gig, which ultimately resulted in her engagement. In an interview with E! Online, Fletcher said she had totally moved on from Ben before signing on to The Bachelorette.

“Right after my relationship ended with Ben, I had some time at home to think about everything,” JoJo told E!“I feel like I got to a place where I moved on and I was happy, and then it came to me and I felt like I was more ready than ever. The timing felt right and I was really excited.”

JoJo also set the record straight on her feelings about The Bachelor star saying those three little words to both her and Bushnell.

“I never thought there was anything wrong with Ben saying ‘I love you’ to both of us, it just didn’t work out for me,” Fletcher explained.

“I’m good friends with Lauren and I think Ben’s amazing, but he just wasn’t the right one for me.”

The Ben & Lauren premiere showed Bushnell watching JoJo’s season of The Bachelorette and noting how much Fletcher still talked about her man.

“For someone who’s supposedly moved on, JoJo talks a lot about Ben,” Lauren said.

Later, when Higgins agrees to the double date with Fletcher and Rodgers, Bushnell is visibly annoyed and calls him out on it. The couple’s cameo on JoJo’s After the Final Rose special culminated with a backstage fight.

While JoJo Fletcher claims she doesn’t “know anything about” her ex’s new reality show, she unwittingly got as much air time as the show’s namesakes on the first episode, so she may want to watch it. JoJo is only one episode behind, so she can easily catch up on the show that’s pretty much all about her.
