Courtney Stodden Vs Billy Bush: Why She Wants Him Fired From ‘Today’

Courtney Stodden is not holding back when it comes to her thoughts on Billy Bush. The reality star has taken to social media to reveal that she hopes the former Access Hollywood host gets fired from his new position on the Today Show.

The blonde bombshell has become sort of a feminist icon for her fans in recent months. She has expressed her disapproval over misogynistic men. Stodden has recently taken to Twitter to express her hatred for the sleazy host after a recording leaked of his conversation with presidential nominee Donald Trump back in 2005. Stodden expressed to her followers that she hopes he gets fired from the Today Show after it was reported that he is suspended following this recent scandal, as reported via Jezebel.

It looks like she has some bad blood with Billy Bush. According to past tweets, Courtney Stodden and her husband Doug Hutchison had a rather uncomfortable interview with the talk show host back in 2012. Stodden and Hutchison have received negative media attention for their controversial marriage. She married the Green Mile actor when he was 51 and she was just 16. Stodden and Hutchison spoke to Bush about their relationship on the set of Access Hollywood.

“We didn’t meet [right away], I think it was six months, over the course of six months, we were talking online, we were communicating through text messages,” Stodden told Bush and Kit Hoover.

“You met online?” Bush asked.

“Yeah,” Courtney and Doug answered at the same time. “Through mutual friends,” Courtney then added.

“Doug, people are going to call you a pedophile and pervert for meeting a young girl online,” Bush added.

“I didn’t meet Courtney online,” the actor backtracked on his comments and corrected the host.

“And they’re not that far off, I mean, you meet a young girl, start chatting with her online… you’re an actor, Green Mile, you got [a] career here in town, I’m surprised that you would do that,” Bush said.

“You know what, you can throw down,” Hutchison said.

“You just threw your career away, by the way, haven’t you? Right?” Bush continued to press.

“I would do it again, over and over and over because I fell in love with the woman I’m supposed to be with for the rest of my life,” Hutchison told the hosts. “We live day by day, Billy. We don’t know if tomorrow is going to come. So you have to grab it when you fall in love.”

“This is not a fake marriage,” Stodden told Bush and Hoover. “The biggest myth about their relationship is that it is a publicity scam,” she said on the people’s opinion about them.

Stodden and Hutchison separated for a year and worked out their issues on VH1’s Couples Therapy. The couple has been rocked by marital problems after Stodden suffered a miscarriage back in July. On an episode of Allegedly With Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss, the 22-year-old model discussed the reason behind their separation, as reported via People.

“I [had] just recently finished a stint on Celebrity Big Brother in the U.K. and I think I turned 19 on the show and I was in the house for about a month and it was the first time I was away from Doug and I kind of felt like I was a college girl going away into a dorm or something with the cameras there. That was my first time away from Doug. After I got off the show, I was like, ‘You know what, I need to sow my wild oats. I need to go out. I need to date. I need to screw.’ So that was basically the primary reason for that separation and we were separated for about a year maybe.”

Stodden and Hutchison are currently at a “crossroad point” in where their relationship will go after her miscarriage.

“I think when a couple faces a difficult trial in life together, whatever that may be, it either tears you apart or brings you together,” Stodden said. “And I think right now we’re kind of in the kind of crossroad point where we’re trying to figure it out.”

Earlier this year, Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison renewed their vows for their fifth wedding anniversary.
