Christopher Walken Reads Honey Boo Boo Lines [Video]

Honey Boo Boo Child has taken our culture by storm, and the phenomenon finally reached its zenith as Christopher Walken read from a Here Comes Honey Boo Boo script as Mama Bear.

The Screen Junkies Show host Hal Rudnick recently sat down with A-list actors Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, and Christopher Walken for a promotional interview regarding the upcoming film Seven Psychopaths. Rudnick, a self-confessed Honey Boo Boo fanatic, handed Rockwell and Walken scripts from the TLC reality TV show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and got the actors to do an in-character reading of the show’s dialogue for his YouTube series.

In an effort to tie the film Seven Psychopaths to the “greatest psychopaths in American pop culture today,” Rudnick gave scripts to Rockwell (who sat-in for Honey Boo Boo) and Walken (who took on the role of Mama Bear) while Farrell joked “I’ll direct.”

Rockwell put some real effort into the character of Honey Boo Boo, sometimes stumbling over the family’s strange colloquialisms, though affecting a southern redneck accent (most of the time). Walken, calmly donning a pair of reading glasses, read Mama Bear’s lines straight, including “Not all that vajiggle jaggle.”

“These are words,” Walken simply declared of the script as Farrell and Rockwell laughed. Rudnick felt that the two “nailed it,” and Rockwell remarked that the sit-down was the “best interview all day.”

We agree, Mr. Rockwell. We agree.
