Blake Shelton Plays Stepdad To Gwen Stefani’s Boys At Disneyland After Gavin Rossdale Backlash

Blake Shelton has no problem playing stepdad.

The country crooner was recently spotted on daddy duty with Gwen Stefani at Disneyland. Is Shelton becoming more fatherly as a result of the Gavin Rossdale backlash?

Hollywood Life released photos from the Disneyland trip that show Shelton getting closer than ever to Stefani’s three boys.

Shelton looked completely at ease while he held Stefani’s youngest, Apollo (2), and the rest of the family waited in line.

The family spent the entire day at the amusement park and wore nothing but smiles and happy faces.

Stefani rocked a pair of Minnie Mouse ears while Shelton retained his comfortable country look with denim and a baseball cap.

Shelton carried Apollo for a good chunk of the day while the No Doubt alum’s other sons, Kingston (10) and Zuma (8), enjoyed the rides.

Shelton doesn’t have any kids of his own but looks content with being the stepdad to Stefani’s threesome.

Stefani and Shelton took some time for themselves on the vacation and were spotted holding hands and taking in the views of the park.

The pop star also took Shelton to visit her old family home in Anaheim, offering him a glimpse at what her life was like before stardom.

According to Hollywood Life, the photos from the Disneyland trip prove how much things are heating up between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

“Gwen and Blake had the most romantic day ever at Disneyland and visiting her old childhood home yesterday,” an insider told the outlet. “Gwen shared Disneyland, a place she had grown up going to, with Blake who had never been before.”

If the photos weren’t enough evidence, the source added that “Blake looked genuinely happy and in love with Gwen. He held her hand walking around the amusement park, pulling her is close and stealing kisses whenever he could.”

During an interview with People, Stefani opened up about dealing with the messy divorce with Rossdale last year and how she’s currently the “happiest” she’s ever been.

“I feel like I’m in the next chapter moving into the next phase of whatever just happened,” Stefani explained. “Even though that year was challenging, it was also one of my favorite things that ever happened to me.”

Stefani separated from Rossdale last summer and channeled much of her emotions through music.

In fact, the former No Doubt frontwoman just released her first solo album in years, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, and is coming off the end of her summer tour.

Of course, her relationship with Shelton also helped her through the challenges of divorce.

“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” Stefani admitted. “I’m in a good place and I’m so excited. There’s always amazing things to come.”

For those fans who follow Stefani, her growing romance with Shelton is no secret.

In fact, the couple’s relationship has been making headlines ever since they got together on The Voice last fall.

Although fans can’t get enough of their epic romance, Rossdale recently told People that he is tired of all the attention.

“I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on,” the 50-year-old rocker shared. “It’s, like, enough already.”

Rossdale and Stefani were together for 12 years before calling it quits a year ago.

While Rossdale is ready to move on with his life, he believes his boys are the best thing going for him.

“I have an incredible life with [my kids] and that’s what matters,” he stated. “You can’t keep up with all the vitriol. Just don’t get into all that.”

Stefani has never directly confirmed the reports of Rossdale’s infidelity, though it is fairly obvious that their marriage ended because he cheated.

For now, it’s good to know that both Stefani and Rossdale are moving forward with their lives and ready to face whatever happens next.
