Miranda Kerr’s Malibu Mansion Attacked: 1 Shot, 1 Stabbed During Break-In

Supermodel Miranda Kerr’s Malibu mansion was broken into Friday morning and has left two people hospitalized — one victim has multiple gunshot wounds, and the other has a stab wound to the eye.

This morning, a brutal confrontation at Miranda Kerr’s Malibu home occurred when a security guard at the house went after an intruder who had just hopped the fence of the property.

The intruder stabbed the guard in the eye and the guard responded by shooting at the man multiple times. One shot struck the intruder’s head.

The intruder was taken to a local hospital, while the security guard was airlifted to an ER. TMZ reported that both victims are expected to survive the attack.

Miranda Kerr was fortunately not home at the time of the break-in. This is one of many recent celebrity break-ins.

Not to mention Kim Kardashian’s already infamous $10 million robbery that occurred just last week. The robbery sparked celebrities around the world to increase their security.

The Inquisitr reported that Kylie Jenner’s gate crasher just received his sentence since attempting to break into the reality star’s gated home community.

Jenner’s supermodel sister, Kendall Jenner, has had her own share of crazy intruders. Kendall recently had to testify against her alleged stalker. The man apparently followed Jenner and appeared outside of her home on her driveway.

MIRANDA KERR’S RELATIONSHIP WITH EX ORLANDO BLOOM, ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT AN AD FOR SNAPCHAT?

Miranda Kerr is currently engaged to one of the world’s youngest billionaires, Evan Spiegel, chief executive officer at Snapchat. Could her new fiance’s financial position have had anything to do with Kerr being targeted for a break-in?

The CEO of Snapchat has an estimated net worth of over $2 billion. He is the youngest of the 14 billionaires under 40-years-old who have joined the world’s top 400 billionaires, according to Forbes magazine.

Miranda Kerr posted this Instagram photo to announce her engagement to Evan Spiegel.

“I said yes!!!”

Miranda told Harper’s Bazaar in a recent interview that although she loved living with former flame Orlando Bloom and their son, Flynn, in New York City, she opted for Malibu, as she saw it as the best geographical location to raise their son.

Miranda’s new fiance built an extravagant garden behind her Malibu mansion to go along with her eco-friendly, organic lifestyle. Miranda once referred to her home as the “dust bowl,” but now it is a green place.

“Obviously, I’m aware of the drought problem in California. This system really just pulls water out of the sky. It was a very thoughtful present because [Spiegel] knows how much I love a garden.”

The home was built in 1960 and has a modern beach-cottage feel, with exposed beams and large windows. The walls are covered in her son’s drawings, family photos, and artwork that the model has collected over the years.

Kerr had just bought the property in 2014, when she and her former husband, Orlando Bloom, were deciding how and where to raise their son. As soon as she found the property on a hillside overlooking the beach, she pounced and purchased the home.

“I knew this house was it at first sight. It felt so right. In some ways it feels like a tree house. That’s another thing that I loved. It’s all open, and the view of the ocean makes it feel more spacious.”

Will Miranda feel safe staying in her Malibu mansion after the violent break-in that took place this morning? Or will she and her future husband have to find a new place to begin their happily ever after?
