Chris Brown: What He’s Doing To Win Back Rihanna Post-Drake Split

Chris Brown is trying ever-so-hard to impress Rihanna now that she has officially confirmed reports she’s no longer seeing rapper Drake.

A rep close to the singer made the revelation earlier this week, according to Us Weekly, leaving fans stunned, especially after the couple’s PDA moments during MTV’s Video Music Awards over the summer.

During the televised event, Drake gushed on how Rihanna was the only girl in the world that could make him feel like a little boy in her presence, before going to add that he’s been in love with the Bajan-singer since the young age of 22.

For reasons that are still unknown, Rihanna and Drake decided to part ways, which Hollywood Life claims has given Chris Brown every opportunity to try and rekindle things with his ex-girlfriend, who has not been romantically linked to in over three years.

Brown and Rihanna split in January 2013, just weeks after having confirmed on social media that they were seeing one another once again. But their three-year hiatus has definitely been the longest break Chris has had from the 28-year-old since he first started dating her when he was just 17 years of age.

“Chris going after Rihanna again, hard. He just had his assistant send a ton of stuff to her in Barbados for her and her family. He sent booze, flowers, a bunch of toys for all the kids, he knows the way to her heart is through her family,” a source tells the outlet, making it clear that Chris Brown is still in love with his ex-lover.

The source goes on to add that Chris didn’t just want to present the singer with a bunch of lavish gifts. He actually took the time to create some of the artwork himself. Rihanna is well aware of Brown’s talents as far as his paintings are concerned, making the gift that much more meaningful and special.

“Plus he did some painting for her, he had it all covered up but it was something he did himself. He’s saying he’s going to get her back, that they belong together and stuff. He definitely sees this break-up from Drake as his opportunity.”

Chris Brown has been saying for months that the relationship between Rihanna and Drake wasn’t going to last. When he first learned about the romance between the twosome, Hollywood Life claimed at the time that Chris wasn’t stressing over it. He considered it as Rihanna having a little fun, convinced that it wasn’t anything more than that.

And, as sources have revealed, Brown was absolutely right. His next plan is to win back the woman he has been chasing after for the past three years. Chris Brown’s life has changed so much since his split from Rihanna in 2013. He had a child, broke up with his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, and has faced endless lawsuits and arrests ever since.

Some believe that having Rihanna by his side could help Chris get back on track, not just with his music career, but also with his personal life. It should be stressed that, even though Rihanna and Brown were not romantically linked to one another in the past three years, they still remained in touch.

And now that the “Diamonds” singer has announced that she’s definitely single, it has given Chris Brown all the reasons to believe there is still a chance he’ll reconcile with Rihanna sooner rather than later.
