Donald Trump Pisses Off The First Lady: Michelle Obama Says Lewd Comments Have ‘Shaken Me To My Core’
Donald Trump upset a lot of people after being heard in a tape recording making lewd comments about sexually assaulting women. Now, the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama has spoken out in outrage saying that the comments have “shaken me to my core.”

Ever since Michelle Obama’s legendary speech at the Democratic convention, the first lady is one of Hillary Clinton’s top supporters. She has also publicly declared Donald Trump unfit to be a moral leader for the nation.
At a campaign event on Thursday, Michelle Obama shared her reaction to Donald Trump’s latest, most explosive controversy. A tape was leaked of Trump being heard graphically discussing sexually assaulting women in 2005.
The tape recording leak was followed by several women coming forward to claim that they had been sexually assaulted by Donald Trump.
Many of the women had said they were afraid to come forward in the past, but once they had heard Donald Trump at the second presidential debate claim that he had never sexually assaulted women, calling the lewd comments “locker room talk,” they felt they had to come forward.
“Last week, we saw this candidate actually bragging about sexually assaulting women, and I can’t believe that I’m saying that a candidate for president of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women.”
Michelle Obama was in Manchester, New Hampshire, for the democratic campaign event.
“I can’t stop thinking about this. It has shaken me to my core in a way that I couldn’t have predicted.”
The first lady alluded to reports that surfaced of women accusing Trump of sexual assault as being all the proof people needed to see that this wasn’t “an isolated incident.”
“It’s not something we can just sweep under the rug as just another disturbing footnote in a sad election season.
“I listen to all of this, and I feel it so personally.
“The shameful comments about our bodies, the disrespect of our ambitions and intellect, the belief that you can do anything you want to a woman — it is cruel, it’s frightening, and the truth is, it hurts.”
Michelle Obama stated firmly on Thursday that she wanted to reiterate how high the stakes were for the nation’s children.
“In our hearts, we all know that if we let Hillary’s opponent win in this election, that we are sending a clear message to our kids: that everything they’re seeing and hearing is perfectly okay.”
The first lady warned that we were setting a terrible example for younger generations.
“We’re telling our sons that it’s okay to humiliate women. We’re telling our daughters that this is how they deserve to be treated. We’re telling all our kids that bigotry and bullying are perfectly acceptable in the leader of their country.
“If we have a president who routinely degrades women, who brags about sexually assaulting women, then how can we maintain our moral authority in the world?”

According to the L.A. Times, Obama framed this year’s election as a crucial moment for the history of women. For one, it is a chance for the nation to have our first female president.
More importantly, it is a way for women to stand up against men like Donald Trump and send a message that the country will no longer tolerate these attitudes towards women.
“This is not normal. This is not politics as usual. This is disgraceful. This is intolerable.”
Michelle Obama made it clear that she feels that tolerating Donald Trump’s behavior for another woman is hurting women and sending a dangerous message to younger generations of Americans.
