Did Cheryl’s Girls Aloud Bandmate Just Confirm She’s Pregnant With Liam Payne’s Baby?

Did Cheryl’s former Girls Aloud bandmate and close friend Kimberley Walsh just confirm that she and Liam Payne are expecting their first child?

Cheryl’s fellow girlband star sent Cheryl and Liam’s fans into meltdown amid speculation that there’s another One Direction baby on the way after Kimberley seemingly dropped more than a few hints about Cheryl potentially being pregnant in a new interview.

Though Kimberley did not explicitly confirm that Cheryl is pregnant, Walsh certainly appeared to suggest that Cheryl and Liam could have a baby on the way by admitting that Cheryl “will make a great mom” amid the pregnancy speculation.

Kimberley, who is currently pregnant with her second child, was quizzed on whether or not Cheryl is pregnant with Payne’s baby during a new interview with Britain’s The Sunday People, to which she coyly replied that Cheryl is “really happy right now. And she’ll be a brilliant mum.”

“She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she’s used to the madness of children,” Walsh continued of Cheryl, hinting that Payne’s girlfriend could also be on babysitting duty for her impending arrival.

“Both [Cheryl] and Nicola [Roberts] are naturally good with kids,” added Kimberley of her former Girls Aloud bandmates as the pregnancy rumors continue to swirl around Cheryl and the One Direction star.

Though Walsh used some pretty wise words when asked about Cheryl potentially being pregnant with her and Liam’s first baby, fans of the couple, who began dating earlier this year, appeared to take Kimberley’s recent comments as a pregnancy confirmation.

Fans flocked to social media to suggest that Kimberley all but confirmed Cheryl is pregnant and expecting a baby with Liam on social media, speculating that Walsh may have let the cat out of the bag after weeks of speculation that Cheryl and Payne are about to become parents.

“Cheryl’s best friend confirmed she’s pregnant,” One Direction fan @casuallydione claimed of Walsh’s comments, while Twitter user @IFUSEEKBRlTNEY wrote, “Kimberley basically confirmed Cheryl is pregnant, because if she wasn’t, [she] would’ve said so.”

But while a slew of fans took Kimberley’s comments as a pregnancy confirmation, others denied that Cheryl’s bandmates admission to The Sunday People officially confirmed that Cheryl and Liam are about to welcome a bundle of joy and another One Direction baby is on the way.

Notably, Walsh’s comments about Cheryl potentially being pregnant come after weeks of speculation suggesting that Cheryl and Payne could be expecting their first child.

The Payne and Cheryl pregnancy rumors went into overdrive after the singer appeared to show off what many fans thought was a baby bump during an appearance at L’Oreal Paris’s Gold Obsession Party in Paris, France, during Paris Fashion Week on October 2.

Cheryl’s appearance, her first in weeks, sent the pregnancy rumors mill into overdrive, with The Sun most recently posting a sideways on shot of the “I Don’t Care” singer at the event that appeared to confirm that she is, in fact, pregnant with Liam’s baby.

Cheryl and Liam have so far stayed tight-lipped as the rampant pregnancy rumors swirled, though Payne and Cheryl’s fans have noticed that the couple appear to have been dropping more than a few hints while failing to shut down the pregnant rumor mill.

As reported by OK! Magazine, after Liam and Cheryl’s fans spammed Cheryl’s Instagram page asking if she was pregnant, Cheryl turned off the comments on her most recent posts, just days after Payne left his own hint on social media by altering his Twitter biography to read “the luckiest man in the world.”

The Sun also reported that the pregnancy speculation hit such fever pitch in the U.K. that a number of betting shops were forced to stop taking bets from customers hoping to make some cash from a potential upcoming One Direction pregnancy announcement, which would make Payne the second member of the band to become a dad.
