Teen Sells Mom’s Jewelry, Visits A Brothel

A teenager in Germany stole nearly $3,800 in jewelry from his mother, only to turn around and take a brothel visit with a friend. The 14-year-old sold the nearly $4,000 in jewelry for just $380.

According to Karlsruhe police spokesman Ralf Minet, the boy’s mother has decided to press charges against her son after he admitted to stealing his mom’s possessions to pay for several prostitutes.

The teen visited the brothels on two separate occasions thanks to his stolen funds.

Minet tells Reuters:

“We don’t know what the mother’s motives are for pressing charges. It’s possible she wants to teach him a lesson or it’s possible that she felt she had lost control.”

While prostitution is legal in Germany, brothel visitors must be over the age of 18. German police are now investigating the brother to determine if the boy actually went to the location and received illegal services based on his age and the age of his 14-year-old friend.

The owner of the brothel the boy claims to have allegedly visited tells police the boy and his friend were turned away because of their young age.

This might be the best crime story to come out of Germany since we recently reported about a farmer who accidentally grew a field of marijuana.

Do you think the boy’s mom made the right decision in pressing charges against her son based on his various illegal activities?
