Taylor Swift Involved In Billy Bush’s Lewd Conversation With Donald Trump

Taylor Swift has somewhat found herself involved in Billy Bush’s ongoing scandal. The former Access Hollywood host was caught on tape making inappropriate comments about women and laughing at Donald Trump’s remarks on sexual assault.

It turns out that it’s not the first time that Billy Bush has made these types of comments. The Today Show host is currently on suspension – indefinitely – for the comments he made back in 2005. According to a new report, he also made some lewd comments about Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid. The 44-year-old talk show host would often remark about women in the Access Hollywood newsroom – and some of those comments are on tape, according to TMZ.

Sources told the outlet that Bush would often say, “Look at her legs,” and “Man, she looks hot today!”

People onset have said that he’s taken great interest in both Gigi Hadid, 21, and Taylor Swift, 26. Billy worked at Access Hollywood from 2001 to 2016 until he made the leap to the Today Show. Studio bosses had no problems with Billy’s comments. He even openly asked Jennifer Lopez about her butt in an interview back in 2002, that ended up airing on Access Hollywood.

TMZ is reporting that Bush was not the only one who made inappropriate remarks about women. Only time will tell if more tapes will be released. This comes after the news that Bush actually bragged to the other NBC staff that he has recordings about Donald Trump while in Rio.

“If he knew about the tape, and remembered the full extent of such an explosive conversation with a presidential candidate and didn’t disclose that to NBC News, that is a very, very serious problem,” an insider told Page Six.

The insider added that the tapes could violate his contract, including the “morality clause.” However, “it is not clear if Billy remembered the exact level of vulgarity in the conversation with Trump, or if he instead realized its news value and didn’t declare it to protect himself.”

In light of all the Donald Trump-Billy Bush scandal, people want Taylor Swift to speak out about it. Swift has been a victim of sexual assault before, according to Fusion. Back in October 2015, she filed a lawsuit against a Colorado radio DJ, accusing him of assault and battery after he sued her for defamation of character. Swift claimed he allegedly “groped” her butt while they were meeting backstage at her concert during a meet-and-greet.

Swift has revealed in the past that she’s often tight-lipped when it comes to sharing her views on politics. She spoke out about it to Time back in 2012.

“I follow [the election], and I try to keep myself as educated and informed as possible. But I don’t talk about politics because it might influence other people. And I don’t think that I know enough in life to be telling people who to vote for.”

Swift has since stuck to her promise and has kept her politics to herself. Some may argue that Swift is a republican due to both her religious past and her country music past. Her best friend, Karlie Kloss, is dating Joshua Kushner, the brother of Ivanka Trump’s husband. On the other hand, Swift is good friends with Lena Dunham and has hinted to voting for Obama back in 2008.

Last week, Swift appeared in an Instagram photo that a friend posted along with the pro-Hillary Clinton caption, “#ImWithHer.”

In addition, Swift has since declared herself as a feminist amid the release of her 1989 album back in October 2014. Swift has since spoken out about her feminist views in her interviews with The Guardian and Maxim. She also has admitted in Vogue’s 73 Questions that she has become a “lightning rod for slut shaming” because of her lengthy dating history.

When asked about the one thing she would tell her 19-year-old self, Swift sighed and said, “You’re gonna date just like a normal 20-something should be allowed to, but you’re going to be a national lightning rod for slut shaming.”

While most celebrities have been giving their input on the election, Swift has been keeping quiet on social media. She’s basically been off the radar with the exception of the Hiddleswift split and her feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Most of her pop contemporaries have publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton, noted Fusion. Swift does not have to share support for Hillary, but she could speak out for sexual assault victims, especially since she has such a huge platform.
