‘General Hospital’ Speculation: Bryan Craig Leaves, So Will Morgan Corinthos Be Recast?
Fans of Morgan Corinthos are sad to see that Bryan Craig has exited the show and will no longer be playing the role. Bryan announced he would be leaving and at this time, they have made it look like Morgan is dead. Now fans are speculating what will really happen with Bryan Craig’s character now that he is gone. Celeb Dirty Laundry shared about the options and how everyone is trying to figure out what is going to end up happening.
At the end of last week, Bryan Craig was on the show for his very last time. Bryan is moving on, even though he hasn’t told his fans yet what his plans are after his time on GH. The explosion was supposed to kill Julian Jerome (William deVry,) but instead looks like it killed Morgan Corinthos. This all happened right after Tyler Christopher revealed he was leaving his role of Nikolas Cassadine. The idea of losing a few amazing characters has the fans really upset.

The role that Bryan Craig was playing is very important to General Hospital. Morgan had a love triangle with Kiki and her mother, Ava. There have always been rumors that he would find out that Avery was really his daughter. Plus the bipolar role he has been playing lately has really been amazing and had fans excited.
At this time, Bryan Craig is not revealing why he left the show, and the viewers really want to know. The show has been quiet about it all as well. Bryan is engaged to Kelly Thiebaud, whom also left the show a while back. She used to play the role of Brit on General Hospital.
It has been confirmed that Bryan Craig is leaving, but there is no confirmation that Morgan will be recast at this time. They left him in a situation where the character could be found later on. So far, they haven’t even found his body and being in an accident like he was it would be easy to bring him back looking different after plastic surgery. The idea of General Hospital not having Morgan Corinthos on the show is something fans are not okay with happening.

Michael Fairman Soaps also shared his thoughts on a possible recast now that Bryan Craig is gone from the show. Some casting news that was sent out makes it sound like they will be recasting this role and finding someone new. It has not been confirmed for sure at this time, yet. The casting information says, “20 to 25 years old, Caucasian male. He is brooding and intense. He is complicated and troubled. Underneath his edge, he is a soulful young man trying to figure things out.” This is a perfect fit for the role that Bryan Craig has been playing, and so far there is no talk about someone else fitting this description joining the show.
There is one more thing in this casting information. It says that the actor would need to start around the end of October. Bryan Craig was just done last week, so that would be perfect timing. They could leave Morgan missing for a little while and then bring in the new actor a little over a month after he left. It really does sound like Bryan’s role will be recast, but only time will tell what they decide to do for sure. The fans are going to have to wait for a bit to find out.
