Gwyneth Paltrow Strips Down And Proves She’s As Fit As Ever

Gwyneth Paltrow is giving us all a much-needed break from the political mudslinging, giving everyone something much lighter to discuss over the office watercooler, as she bares her body for Harper’s Bazaar. The actress and entrepreneur has allowed the magazine to tag along for a shopping trip, because what better place to model one’s collection of sexy, black outfits than at the grocery store? Paltrow and Harper’s set up the photo shoot to accompany an interview with Gwyneth, conducted by Samantha Bee, in which Ms. Paltrow discusses everything from Goop’s venture into fashion to Gwyneth’s parenting adventures.

Gwyneth Paltrow Bares Some Skin, As She Teases Goop’s Fashion Line

Gwyneth Paltrow may be adding the vocation of modeling to her already impressive list of acting, writing, and lifestyle guru. Yahoo Style reports that Ms. Paltrow graces the cover of the November 2016 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, wearing black lingerie and a matching masquerade mask. However, within the magazine’s pages, more than Gwyneth’s face is unmasked. The Iron Man 3 actress is seen wearing various outfits, all of them black and revealing, in a photo spread that accentuates Paltrow’s finely toned body.

In one image Gwyneth is seen grabbing a gallon of milk, but what makes this so unusual is that Gwyneth is dressed down in a $2,250 black Valentino cape blazer, covering her Eres one piece bathing suit ($385). In another image, Paltrow is seen posing in the cereal aisle, wearing an outfit from her own Goop line of clothing. The knee-length Goop Label dress hugs Gwyneth’s curves tightly enough that it almost tears attention away from the $695 price tag. The outfit is completed with a Bulgari necklace, matching bracelet, and Manolo Blahnik black pumps, totaling $595 for the accessories.

“The clothing line is just one thread in the quilt of what I’m trying to create, which is a truly modern, global lifestyle brand,” Ms. Paltrow tells Samantha Bee. “The clothes themselves are not meant to be daring at all — these are reimagined basics. The daring part of it is that we want to change the way fashion is served to the consumer.”

Many of the followers faithful to Gwyneth’s Goop blog and products have asked her why she hasn’t offered a more complete line of wellness and health-related products to more fully fall in line with the topics discussed on the Goop website. In reply, Paltrow says she has a vision for the company in which it will expand in several areas. While Goop currently seeks to stake a claim in the fashion industry, Gwyneth indicates that new products will soon be seen in other areas as well.

“I wanted to make sure that as we grew in scale, we were diversifying across all the different verticals, so that we could be as credible in them as we are in food and that kind of stuff.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Opens Up About Her “Super Ballsy” Daughter

While it may most often be the dream of parents that their children follow in their footsteps or realize some dream they may have for their children, People reveals that the circumstances are quite the opposite for Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter, 12-year-old Apple.

“My daughter is super ballsy. I always follow her lead,” says the Goop founder. “I actually don’t need to encourage her to take risks. She likes to push herself; she wants to see how far she can get.”

Gwyneth adds that she finds inspiration from Apple’s strength, before going on to reveal that both Apple and her 10-year-old brother, Moses, will face their own unique challenges in a family that may often criticize the children and push their own prejudices upon them. She adds that, while there are difficulties in being a growing child within her family, her own parents were instrumental in helping her to grow to be the successful woman she is today.

Gwyneth credits her father for giving her the skills to face the professional world and to know when to ask the questions that would lead to the most useful information. Likewise, Ms. Paltrow credits her mother for teaching her to face adversity and failure with grace and perseverance.

“I remember when I started acting and didn’t get a part and was really jealous of the girl who got it. My mom [actress Blythe Danner] would say to me, ‘If you don’t get a part, that means it’s not your part. It’s just not yours. You will have your parts,'” recalls Paltrow.

“It really recalibrated me at a very young age to where I could be driven because I was trying to achieve things for myself,” adds Ms. Paltrow, “and that had nothing to do with what anybody else was doing.”

Paltrow goes on to reveal that her parents can also be counted upon to be just as brutal as they can be wise. Gwyneth reveals that her father pulled her aside one day and gave her an eye-opening critique of the person she was becoming.

“I was sitting with my dad, feeling great about my life and everything that was happening, and he was like, ‘You know, you’re getting a little weird … You’re kind of an a–hole.’ And I was like, ‘What the hell?’ I was totally devastated,” says Gwyneth.

In the end, Gwyneth says she was grateful for that conversation, because it gave her an opportunity to really examine herself in an honest manner. Paltrow adds that the criticism meant something important coming from her own father, than it might have meant coming from a random internet troll.
