Jesus Found on Mars

In a photo of the surface of the red planet released this week by NASA, you can, if you squint, clearly see the face and robed body of Jesus Christ.

The photo was taken on August 3rd by a camera on NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. It was taken in an area near the edge of the Hale crater on southern Mars. The photo shows what appears to be a rocky region and gullies with sand dunes near the bottom.

The face of Jesus has been spotted a number of times over the years. His likeness has been seen in an MRI, burnt burger grease and a cheese sandwich. But he’s not the only one whose face people seem to find on odd things. He turns after his mom, the Virgin Mary, whose face has even been found in bird poop.

Where will Jesus turn up next?
