‘Married At First Sight’ Season 4 Spoilers: Tom and Lillian Worried About Decision Day, What Happens In Episode 12 ‘In-Laws?’

Married at First Sight Season 4 returns with an all-new episode this Tuesday, October 11 on FYI. According to the official synopsis and latest spoilers, Episode 12, titled “In-Laws,” will see MAFS couples Nick Pendergrast and Sonia Granados and Tom Wilson and Lillian Vilchez celebrate Mother’s Day with each other’s families. Elsewhere, Derek Schwartz and Heather Seidel will finalize their divorce and start the healing process with help from the experts.

In the sneak peek clip for Tuesday’s episode of Married at First Sight Season 4, Tom Wilson and Lillian Vilchez were seen celebrating Mother’s Day by having a picnic with their moms. At first, everyone seemed like they were having a good time. Lillian, however, predicted that “things could go south at any moment.”

“Just don’t want to see you with a broken heart,” Tom’s mom told them at dinner.

In last week’s episode of Married at First Sight Season 4, titled “To Love and to Cherish,” Tom claimed that Lillian was not putting much effort into the experiment. While he appreciates that she is a hardworking woman, oftentimes he felt like she puts her job ahead of their marriage.

“A lot of times she’s on her phone, busy with work, and I’m talking to her and she’s not paying attention. The biggest mistake that we can make as a couple is not listening. She’s not showing a hundred percent effort and I feel like I’m putting a hundred percent and she’s putting in 67 percent,” he explained.

Both Tom and Lillian said that they could see themselves falling in love with their spouse. The Married at First Sight Season 4 stars, however, were worried that their partner would ask for a divorce come decision day. With two weeks left in the social experiment, Tom thinks there is still a lot to learn about Lillian if she would only open up.

“What scares me the most is Lillian might not love me for who I am. I’m scared of getting hurt. I can definitely see myself falling in love with her but I want to just know that, no matter what, this marriage is more important to her than her job and that she’s committed as I am.”

Meanwhile, Nick Pendergrast and Sonia Granados are also trying their hardest to make their relationship work. After getting into a huge fight, which resulted in Sonia moving out of the apartment, it seems like the two are well on their way to rebuilding their friendship. After seeing how passionate Sonia is in helping the homeless, Nick developed a whole new appreciation for his wife.

“She’s exactly like the girl I want to be married to. I’m going to do anything possible to get her to move back in.”

The Married at First Sight Season 4 experts also agreed that the only way to make the most out of the social experiment is for Sonia to move back in with Nick. In the sneak peek clip for Episode 12, Sonia revealed that she is considering living with Nick another shot.

“Things are going so well. Like maybe I should move back in,” she told the cameras.

Elsewhere in the episode, Derek Schwartz and Heather Seidel will make their first attempt to move on with their lives following the divorce. Derek was seen going on a date with a woman named Christine, who says she can definitely see him as a husband. Heather, meanwhile, had a no-holds-barred conversation with a girlfriend.

“You’re kind of harsh. You get a little psycho sometimes. You come off a little pretentious. You’re stuck up,” she told Heather.

Married At First Sight Season 4, Episode 12, titled “In-Laws,” airs Tuesday, October 11 on FYI.
