Olivia Wilde wasn’t afraid to share her stories on heartbreak and finding love with Jason Sudeikis. The usually private actress opened up during an evening of monologues hosted by Glamour magazine in New York on Monday night.

After enduring a long eight year marriage to Italian husband Tao Ruspoli, their marriage ended in divorce in 2011 when Wilde was just 27 years-old. In the end she admits that she should have listened to her, well, vagina.

One huge hint that her marriage wasn’t working with Ruspoli was because her sex life became non-existent, saying, “I felt like my vagina died. Turned off. Lights out . You can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your vagina.”

Fortunately for Wilde she says she’s “blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love,” with SNL boyfriend Jason Sudeikis. The couple of eight months seem to be in that honeymoon phase, as Wilde describes their active sex life the two have as, “sex like Kenyan marathon runners.”

Olivia continued to explain the signs that she ignored from her nether regions in the past saying:

“Sometimes your vagina dies. Then you know it’s time to go. There’s no reason to sacrifice your womanhood and femininity for some sort of weird feeling of responsibility to something that may not be right. I feel like far too many women do that. [Men] are not allowed to be the only ones thinking with their genitals.”

Sounds like someone missed their calling to be part of the Vagina Monologues.
