Blake Shelton Leaving ‘The Voice’? Gwen Stefani Is ‘Furious’ Over Miley Cyrus’ Flirty Ways

Blake Shelton’s time on The Voice might be coming to an end.

The country crooner’s girlfriend, Gwen Stefani is reportedly unhappy with his new co-star, Miley Cyrus. Will Stefani urge Shelton to exit the NBC’s hit singing competition because of her beef with Cyrus?

“When Miley turned up rocking Gwen’s signature blonde beehive for The Voice’s promotional photo shoot, Blake thought she looked adorable and texted Gwen a quick snap of her look,” an inside source told OK Magazine.

Stefani was already unhappy that Shelton is working with the “Wrecking Ball” singer.

Once Shelton texted her the image, Stefani’s dislike heated up.

“Gwen was furious,” the source claims. “She’s already suspicious of Miley’s flirty ways, and dressing like her younger self really set off the warning bells.”

Shelton’s interactions with Cyrus on The Voice have gone from competitive to bullying over the past few episodes.

An insider previously told the Inquisitr that Shelton and his fellow coach, Adam Levine, have ganged up on Cyrus so much that she burst “in tears” at one point.

Despite the negative attacks, Cyrus is determined to remain in the competition and isn’t ready to quit just yet.

“Miley is saying she refused to be beat up by the old men,” the source stated.

Shelton got extra sassy with Cyrus during a recent installment, sarcastically telling her she had “class” when trying to win over contestants.

“Class your a**,” Cyrus told him in return.

“You’re just a mean, stone-cold killer,” Alicia Keys then told Shelton.

Us Weekly is reporting that Shelton is taking this year’s competition very seriously and isn’t afraid to back down to any of his fellow coaches.

Is Blake Shelton’s competitiveness a sign of deeper issues with his co-stars?

“Winning for me means nothing more than pointing at the other coaches and laughing right in their faces,” Shelton explained. “I think they’re not expecting me to come out with all guns blazing.”

“I think he’s a little bit of a snake in the grass,” Keys said of Shelton.

Levine struggled to get a word in this past week, but he later admitted that the coaching change from last season was a good thing.

“Now I feel like the testosterone levels are totally equalized with two guys and two girls,” he shared.

Of course, Shelton couldn’t resist a good zinger.

“What do you mean?” Shelton asked Levine. “Now there’s one guy and three girls.”

He later told the Maroon 5 frontman: “You’re worthless. You’re just sitting there with your mouth open, and flies are flowing in and out of your mouth hole!”

Meanwhile, it doesn’t sound like things between Cyrus and Shelton are going to get better in the coming weeks.

Not only did Keys admit that things get “crazy emotional” as The Voice continues, but Cyrus explained how losing several members of her team was especially hard.

“It makes me nervous because you lose half of your artists,” she stated. “Things are about to get very real for me.”

For now, it isn’t known what is happening between Shelton and Cyrus behind the scenes and whether or not their constant feuding will lead to Shelton’s exit next season.

If Stefani has her wish, it sounds like Shelton’s days on The Voice are numbered.

This week, fans will watch each coach request help from a mentor while Cyrus and Keys battle it out for who has the best style.

Joan Jett is appearing for Cyrus while Shelton called on Bette Midler to assist his team.

Fans can watch all the drama unfold when new episodes of The Voice air Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.
