Sarah Palin Hits Out At Bristol Haters

Sarah Palin racism

Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page to issue a defiant statement in defense of her eldest daughter Bristol, who recently received threatening packages on the Dancing with the Stars set.

Bristol Palin is currently in Los Angeles, where she is competing on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars. Bristol hasn’t exactly proven the most popular contestant in the show’s history, and one particularly deranged viewer was driven to send a package containing a suspicious white powder to the Dancing with the Stars set at the CBS Studio Center. An accompanying note read, “This is what will happen to you if Bristol Palin stays on [the show].”

This in turn provoked a protective slam from Sarah Palin, with the conservative politician announcing on her Facebook page:

“I’m in California today to support Bristol. I’m sorry to see that she’s again getting those annoying death threats and more ‘mysterious white powder’ sent to her while on Dancing with the Stars this All-Star season. These threats sure waste a lot of time, production and public resources; but do the haters really think this will stop Bristol and Mark and the show’s producers from keepin’ on keepin’ on? Silly critics – after all these years of goofy antics like this we find these efforts are actually quite motivating! Bristol’s not letting this get her down.”

After urging fans to vote for Bristol on the show, she rounds off her post by parroting a Bristol quote about the affair:

“Hey, the haters will hate anyway; the critics will criticize, so you might as well dance!”

Will you be voting for Bristol now you’ve been put in your place by Sarah Palin?

I understand what Sarah is trying to do….support her daughter. All mothers do that. Unfortunately, people are voting for Bristol because of Sarah, not Bristol. I have no feelings one way or the other for either one of these women but it is painfully obvious that Bristol is not a very good dancer and should go home to let the better dancers duke out a fair fight. Sarah urging everyone to vote for her daughter is, in the long run, a disservice to Bristol who is getting a false sense of why she is still in the competition.

I believe Bristol and Mark danced better than the people voted off so far. I searched, and do not find Sarah urging anyone to vote for her daughter. She speaks proudly of her daughter, and in this way advertised that Bristol will be on DWTS and that she will be watching it. She did encourage people to watch, but that is all I find.

It was reported that Sarah is urging people through her FB and Twitter. Also, nobody would know who Bristol is if not for her mother, therefore, there would be few, if any, votes. We'll just have to agree to disagree about Bristol's dancing. I find her as stiff as a board.

Why would anyone send packages to Bristol, I think that is an aweful waste of money… And why are we only hearing about it from Sarah? Could these all be delusional dreams that they really think people still care about the Palins?

Can Sarah PLEASE PLEASE tell me what makes Bristol a star. The rest of the world would like to know.
