A new report might dispel some of the speculation surrounding the origins of Hulk Hogan’s sex tape.
It was confirmed earlier today that Hulk Hogan’s co-star in his recently leaked celebrity sex tape is none other than Heather Clem, the ex-wife of radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge (Hulk confirmed it himself with Howard Stern). This, on the heels of Hulk’s revelation that there might be another sex tape floating around out there, made us collectively wonder: Who is the source of Hulk Hogan’s sex tape? Who leaked it to Gawker?
Hulk’s confession that Heather Clem, the ex-wife of his best friend Bubba, is his co-star in the tape has pointed a majority of celebrity speculation at Bubba the Love Sponge himself. Given that Hulk Hogan had sex with Clem six years ago during his marriage to Linda Hogan, and his confession that Bubba gave him his blessing to rock it out with his estranged wife seems puzzling. Additionally, the act seemed to take place in Bubba’s own house, with an off-screen male voice leaving the two to “do their thing.”
Did Bubba set up the camera himself in an effort to catch Hulk in the act, the ultimate goal being to profit from the scandal?
TMZ thinks so. At the end of the sex tape, Bubba himself tells Heather “If we ever did want to retire, all we’d have to do is use this footage.”
Hulk is issuing cease-and-desist letters to various media outlets and has promised to sue anyone who leaves the video up without his permission. Hulk also apparently told Bubba, “If you had anything to do with this, that means we were never friends.”
Once TMZ informed Hulk of the betrayal, he said, “I’m sick to my stomach right now.”
I kind of feel sorry for you, brother!
