Ohio Teen Girl Dead After Fight Over Flatulence [Video]

Warrensville, OH – A teenager was charged with murder after a fight with another girl over flatulence, ended in death. The victim’s stepfather was reportedly among the group of adults who watched the brawl in at the end of a driveway. One witness claimed in an online post that one of the teen girl’s parents actually took her to the fight, the New York Daily News reports.

Shaakira Dorsey, who died in the fight, reportedly made fun of the other Warrensville Heights girl for passing gas, according to witness statements shared by KAIT-TV. Dorsey’s stepfather eventually stepped in to end the brawl, but another neighbor had already called 911 for help by that time. Shaakira collapsed and was transported to Ahuja Medical Center, where she died shortly after arrival.

Witnesses to the fight maintain that teasing over flatulence led to flying fists. Police officers are still investigating the deadly northern Ohio fight.

A witness reporting the incident had this to say during the 911 call:

“At the end of my driveway, it’s some kids fighting, and it’s adults there watching … it’s adults, grown-ups there watching them fight.”

Dorsey was a junior at Warrensville Heights High School, where she was a member of the school’s softball team. Medical examiners have not yet released a cause of death in the flatulence fight. NewsNet5 reports that the victim’s mother stated the girl did not have any pre-existing medical conditions. Cuyahoga County prosecutors charged the unnamed teen girl with murder she is scheduled to appear in juvenile court on Wednesday.
