Jenelle Evans Braves Hurricane Matthew With Toddler In Tow
Jenelle Evans, the once-again pregnant star of MTV’s Teen Mom 2 and 16 and Pregnant, took to social media on Saturday to show off snaps of her and her toddler son, Kaiser, braving the hurricane force winds brought on by Hurricane Matthew in Jenelle’s home state of North Carolina.
Seemingly taken right on the coast of Wilmington, North Carolina, Evans’ Instagram photos show her holding her son tight and kissing him while the wind whips through Jenelle’s hair. Currently, there are at least five dead in North Carolina due to Hurricane Matthew’s rushing flood waters.

A caption beside one of Evans’ Instagram pics apparently makes known her love for American post-hardcore band La Dispute. The quote utilized by Jenelle is taken from the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based band’s “Fall Down, Never Get Back Up Again,” from their debut 2008 album, Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair. As detailed by The Hollywood Gossip, numerous commenters on Jenelle’s stormy Instagram pics made clear their disdain for the Teen Mom taking her small child out in the windy weather. Jenelle Evans’ hurricane photo shoot apparently raised the ire of many of Evans’ devoted fans, with some users commenting that they would never take a toddler out in such conditions. However, Jenelle Evans appears to have posted the pics as proof of her safety during the storm. In subsequent Instagram and Twitter posts, Jenelle announced that everyone was “fine in [her] house” and that they were “all very safe.” The currently-pregnant Evans stated that she was cooking “goodies with the family” while Hurricane Matthew made its precipitous pass over the Tar Heel State.

Evans offered condolences to those affected by Hurricane Matthew and even mentioned that she would like to volunteer in disaster relief efforts. However, Jenelle mentioned that her current pregnancy keeps her charitable wish from becoming a reality.
“I wish I wasn’t pregnant at the moment so I was able to go volunteer and help these people in Florida and Haiti. Really breaks my heart!”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jenelle is currently expecting her third child with boyfriend David Eason. The toddler in Evans’ aforementioned Instagram photos, Kaiser, is Jenelle’s son with ex-partner Nathan Griffith. Kaiser was born in June 2014. Evans’ eldest child, Jace, was fathered by another previous beau, Andrew Lewis.
In a recent report from Radar Online, the celebrity news site covered David Eason’s recent dalliance with law enforcement. Reportedly, Eason was sentenced to 60 days in prison. The sentence was handed down after David apparently violated a domestic violence protective order.

As revealed in an interview with Perez Hilton, Jenelle Evans is sticking up for her boyfriend. Though Evans was found guilty in court of the forenamed crimes, Jenelle said that David is a caring soul who only has the best interests for the children involved.
“He’s the most selfless person that I’ve met, and he’s so generous and caring to everyone. He has 16 nieces and nephews — he was a teen dad too, so he’s been changing diapers ever since before he had children.”
