Could Taylor Swift Get Back Together With Calvin Harris After Tom Hiddleston Split, Or Does He Want Nicole Scherzinger?

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have faced recent rumors of a possible reunion following her split from Tom Hiddleston, but does the DJ have his eyes on someone else?

After enjoying what was rumored to be a summer fling with Nicole Scherzinger, Harris allegedly attempted to woo the former Pussycat Doll before being shot down by the singer due to her romance with tennis player Girgor Dimitrov.

“Calvin really fancies Nicole and they did have a wild night out following his split from [Taylor Swift],” a source told the Sun on October 6. “He made it clear that he was interested in something happening with Nicole but she was having none of it… She’s in a committed relationship with Grigor and is very much in love with her so there was no chance something would happen.”

After splitting from Taylor Swift in late spring, Harris was photographed with Scherzinger and many believed he was officially moving on from Swift, whom he dated for 15 months. Although nothing romantic came of Harris and Scherzinger’s time together, the former Pussycat Doll did nab an appearance on the X-Factor.

“Nicole did manage to use the opportunity to get Calvin to agree to appear with her at judges’ house filming in the south of France — that was a real coup for her,” the source explained. “There was no way he would have done the show if he didn’t madly fancy Nicole.”

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris began dating one another in February 2015 after their mutual friend, singer Ellie Goulding, introduced them to one another at the 2015 Brit Awards in London, England. For months, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were seen together from Los Angeles to New York City and at several events. Then, in late May, after Swift was seen dancing with Tom Hiddleston at the 2016 Met Gala, their breakup was confirmed and weeks later, Swift and Hiddleston went public with their relationship on a beach near her Rhode Island home.

Due to the timeline of Taylor Swift’s romances with Harris and Hiddleston, many believed Swift may have taken up a relationship with Hiddleston prior to her split from Harris, but there was never any confirmation or evidence of the possibility.

Taylor Swift “dives headfirst into relationships,” an insider close to the singer told Us Weekly last month.

Indeed, Taylor Swift had opened up about this issue in the past.

“I don’t think there’s an option for me to fall in love slowly, or at medium speed,” Taylor Swift explained during a past interview with Parade magazine. “I either do or I don’t… I don’t think it through, really, which is a good thing and a bad thing.”

Last month, after splitting from Tom Hiddleston after about 3 months of dating, Taylor Swift faced rumors of a possible reunion with Harris, who is believed to be single as well. According to the International Business Times, there was a slight possibility of the idea, but currently, Harris seems to be doing much better without her.

“[Calvin Harris] is single. He is dating a few different women. Nothing has stuck. He is not looking for a relationship at all, just fun times with friends,” a source explained to E! News. “Adam is in a much better place after the breakup with Taylor.”

Taylor Swift has remained single and focused on spending time with her friends and working on her potential new album since splitting from Tom Hiddleston early last month.
