Daddy’s Girl: Ivanka Trump Said Her Dad Is ‘Not A Groper’

Ivanka Trump stands by her father, no matter what he says. She has been by Donald Trump side’s throughout his entire presidential campaign and election. And, now, a video of Ivanka Trump defending her father amid a latest string of sexual assault accusations has since resurfaced amid the news of a clip of Donald Trump talking about groping women in 2005.

In an interview with CBS This Morning, as reported by Cosmopolitan, Ivanka Trump said that the sexual assault allegations made against her father had no merit, stating that her father is “not a groper,” which contradicts Donald’s statements from the frightening 2005 clip.

Host Norah O’Donnell first took to Twitter to share the clip on May 18, 2016. Since Donald’s latest controversy, followers have been actively retweeting the clip all day long on both Friday and Saturday.

“Look, I’m not in every interaction my father has,” she said as she laughed and rolled her eyes. “But he’s not a groper. It’s not who he is. And I’ve known my father obviously my whole life and he has total respect for women.”

“I found it to be pretty disturbing, based on the facts as I know them, and obviously I very much know them,” she continued. “I was bothered by it, but it’s largely been discredited since.”

It’s a stark contrast to the video that surfaced of Donald Trump admitting that he doesn’t give permission before kissing “beautiful women” and that they let him “do anything” he wants to do to them because he’s rich and famous. Trump also admitted that he “grab[s] them by the p*ssy.”

People have also been sharing this following video of Donald and Ivanka on The Wendy Williams Show. Donald has openly admitted that he would love to date his daughter if it weren’t for the fact that she was related to him. Some people have dug into Donald’s past, even digging up a photo of a teenage Ivanka sitting on her father’s lap. Now, the following 30-second clip from The Wendy Williams Show shows The Donald expressing what he shares in common with his daughter, as reported via Winning Democrats.

Wendy first asks Ivanka, “What do you have most in common with your father?” Ivanka answers, “Real estate or golf.”

Donald is asked the same question, in which he gives a rather unsettling and disturbing answer. Even Wendy called Donald out on his bizarre answer.

“Well, I was going to say sex, but I can’t,” he says as he points to his daughter, who’s seen laughing along.

Last month, Ivanka Trump defended her father’s controversial comments made about women. She made an appearance during Fox News’ The Kelly File with host Megyn Kelly, reports Business Insider. During the interview, Kelly asked Ivanka questions about Donald’s controversial remarks and interactions with women.

“I wanna ask you about women while you’re here,” Kelly said. “Obviously your dad’s had some trouble with them – he’s 15 points behind Hillary in most of the polls with women, and clearly he’s made some comments with women that have led to that. I’ve always wondered how you reacted.”

“My father can be an equal-opportunity offender,” Ivanka responded. “If somebody says something against him, he will speak his mind. And he treats women equal to how he treats men.”

“He’s said plenty of rough things about men over the years, and I discourage him from doing that, as I discourage him from doing that with women,” she added.

“In a certain way, there’s no bias in his viewpoint. He views all people equally — men or women, it doesn’t matter — and he treats them accordingly. And I think we’ve seen that. He’s very authentic, and he’ll tell anyone, man or woman, what he’s thinking and how he feels.”

Donald Trump has since apologized for the remarks he made in 2005 as many of his followers are rethinking their votes and others are calling for him to resign as the Republic presidential nominee. Donald has also stated on Twitter that he’s not dropping out anytime soon. Ivanka, however, has yet to release a statement about her father’s controversial video from Friday.
