‘Better Call Saul’ Season 3: Cast Members On Set, Release Date, Jesse Pinkman?

Better Call Saul Season 3 was renewed earlier this year and their team shared an official picture of the cast members on set in Albuquerque.

The last season left Better Call Saul fans with a lot to think about. Mike got a note warning him not to shoot Hector Salamanca and Gus Fring’s return has been teased so we can expect him to make an appearance or influence from the background in Better Call Saul Season 3.

Bob Odenkirk who plays Jimmy has stated that he will like to see Jimmy and Mike get more screen time together.

We know from Breaking Bad that they work much more closely in the future.

Is Chuck’s next move going to transform Jimmy McGill into Saul? His vindictive brother has proven to be as conniving as Slippin’ Jimmy but it is not clear what his intentions are. Some fans suggest that he will use the audio of Jimmy confessing to forging the Mesa Verde documents.

Some of the most likely Breaking Bad crossovers are Marie Schrader since Vince Gilligan admitted that he was tempted to put the character in a cameo when Chuck was getting a CAT scan after he was chasing a lead that will help him catch his brother Jimmy.

Since Marie was a radiologic technologist it would have made sense.

“I thought it would be a great and organic opportunity to bring back one of our fundamental Breaking Bad characters, and Peter and the other writers rightly talked me out of it,” Gilligan told Entertainment Weekly in an interview.

“Not because they don’t love Betsy just as much as I do, but it would have distracted the viewer in the moment. It was a big moment in which we wanted to stay squarely inside of Chuck’s head as he goes through the terror and the agony of the scan.”

This suggest that any Breaking Bad crossovers in Better Call Saul Season 3 will have to be written into the main plot. This is what many fans expect with Gus Fring.

Jesse Pinkman was involved in the drug trade before he met Walter White and some fans suggest that he could make an appearance in the upcoming season.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly radio, Aaron Paul who plays Jesse Pinkman confirmed that he may appear in Better Call Saul and he has discussed the role with the show’s writers:

“Yeah, we’ve talked about it,” Aaron Paul told the radio host. “They kind of threw some ideas at me. Like, ‘What if? What do you think about this?’ So the conversations are definitely there, but it has to make sense for the show. They’re not just going to throw Jesse in the mix just so the fans can say, ‘Oh, look, it’s Jesse walking in the background.’ It needs to make sense to the show.”

Could his appearance be in Better Call Saul Season 3? In the third season the of the critically acclaimed show, many fans wonder whether Jimmy will make the transformation because of his brother or a breakup with Kim throws him over the edge.

Another big thing to expect in Better Call Saul Season 3 is Tuco’s uncle, Hector Salamanca. We may finally see how he ended up in a wheelchair and the possibility of a Breaking Bad character being the assailant… under the assumption that he is shot.

We are told that he has a stroke in Breaking Bad, but we don’t know how he gets a stroke or the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Maximino Arciniega played by James Martinez was Gus Fring’s partner and possible his lover. This rumor could be confirmed in Better Call Saul.
