Orlando Bloom Breaks Silence On His Viral Nude Photos

Orlando Bloom has broken his silence on his nude photos that went viral in August, according to News Australia. The 39-year-old actor joked about the nude photos and poked fun at himself.

Last month, Orlando Bloom made his Instagram account public, revealing more than 100 photos and videos overnight. And fans went crazy about it. Not just because of the number of new pics and vids, but also because the Lord of the Rings star happened to make some of his nude photos public.

But Orlando Bloom sure knows how to avoid embarrassment, so he posted a video in which he pokes fun at the nude pics, on which the actor is seen paddleboarding in his birthday suit during his vacation with girlfriend Katy Perry in Sardinia, Italy.

In the slow motion video posted by Orlando Bloom, the actor is seen running towards the camera wearing red boardshorts. In the caption to the video, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug actor wrote he was chasing down “the guy” who stole his swimming trunks.

Orlando Bloom had been silent about the nude pics for over a month before posting that video. Just a few weeks ago, his ex-wife Miranda Kerr admitted in her interview with KIIS FM that Bloom had warned her about the nude photos before they went viral.

“Oh my god, he texted me and he was like, ‘Um, I’m really embarrassed. Some photos are coming out. Just thought I should let you know.'”

But Kerr wasn’t very supportive, and all she asked her ex-husband was “what were you thinking?”

Orlando Bloom’s current girlfriend, “Roar” singer Katy Perry, has recently called The Lord of the Rings actor her “prince” and showed off the duo’s matching Mickey and Minnie socks.

Orlando Bloom and Perry’s romance sounds to many people like a Disney love tale, and the “Rise” singer has just proved it on her Instagram page. Perry shared photos of herself and Bloom having fun at Shanghai’s Disneyland Park.

Orlando Bloom and his girlfriend apparently had lots of fun in Shanghai. In the photos, Perry, who is wearing a baseball hat, and Bloom are seen posing for selfies with their fans. Even Goofy had the chance to take a selfie with the lovebirds.

In fact, Goofy was lucky enough to be smooched by Perry. Interestingly, Orlando Bloom hasn’t posted a single picture from his Disney journey with his girlfriend, but he recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from filming a fight scene for his Chinese project.

Orlando Bloom recently revealed he’s bringing his Legolas-style blonde curls for a new role. But Perry doesn’t care about his hair color, all she wants is to see her boyfriend more often, according to ET Online.

Perry has recently talked to Women’s Wear Daily, and she revealed that the distance is the only obstacle in her otherwise happy relationship with Orlando Bloom.

“My boyfriend lives in Malibu and getting used to that [drive] was, like, ‘Are you kidding me? What kind of life is this?’ There’s no pop over.”

And really, the drive from Los Angeles to Malibu, where Orlando Bloom lives, takes at best 30 minutes, but it’s usually about an hour, so obviously Perry isn’t happy about it. But in no way does it mean that she doesn’t like Malibu.

“I get the whole coming to L.A. and living by the beach thing. But it’s really… it’s so far, nobody [who lives in town] is going to come see you.”

Orlando Bloom is currently filming for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is set to be released in May.
