Kim Kardashian’s Net Worth In Jeopardy? ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ May Be Cancelled After Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian is currently worth an estimated $150 million, but will she soon see a dip in her yearly earnings?

Following a terrifying robbery in Paris, Kim Kardashian is said to be understandably shaken, and after allegedly being targeted due to her high-profile life and constant social media updates, rumors are swirling in regard to the possible end of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“[Kim Kardashian]’s well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume,” an E! spokesperson told Just Jared in a statement on October 6.

“No one [in the family] has filmed anything at all since the robbery,” a source confirmed to Radar Online, and Kris Jenner is now “deciding what her next move is. Kris seems to feel that this is all her fault because her greed is what caused this to happen.”

Kim Kardashian was bound and gagged on Monday morning in her Paris apartment by five masked men who stole $11 million in jewelry from the reality star after conning their way into the residence. Following the incident, the men escaped from the apartment and managed to go completely unseen, which has left authorities with an extremely complicated investigation on their hands.

As Kris Jenner contemplates the best way to move forward with their reality show, Kim Kardashian is said to be ready to part ways with the E! reality series, despite the implications the decision may ultimately have for her net worth. According to a report by Celebrity Net Worth, Kim Kardashian’s net worth increases each year by a whopping $50 million, much of which comes from her E! salary.

Kim Kardashian’s family, including her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, will also see their net worths impacted if the show is taken off the air. Still, the robbery may have prompted Kim Kardashian to take a step back from the public eye and return to a more private life with her husband and children.

“[Kim Kardashian] told her mother that, as of right now, she does not want to be on the show anymore and she wants to step out of the spotlight for a while to focus on her kids and her marriage,” the source told Radar Online. “Kim will not be leaving Los Angeles and she is done touring the globe right now.”

As for how the family feels about the possible cut to their net worths, the source claimed Kourtney Kardashian was on board with the idea, despite the pay decrease.

“Kourtney is the only one of her sisters that is thrilled at the possibility of the show ending and feels that this is definitely God’s work,” the source explained.

If Keeping Up With the Kardashians is ultimately canceled, another person who certainly won’t mind is Kim Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, whose net worth is slightly lower than hers at an estimated $145 million. On October 4, a source told Radar Online that West was more upset than he’s ever been after learning of the Paris robbery and now wants his wife off of television.

“Kanye told Kim and her family that he thinks she is done with reality TV. He does not want his wife and the mother of his kids killed because of her family’s reality show!” the source explained.

Kim Kardshian will be seen during the upcoming episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 12, which begins airing on the E! Network on Sunday, October 23, at 9 p.m.
