Will Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Ever Get Back Together? Plus, Find Out How She Treats Lupus

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been on and off for years, but are they finally done for good?

Following a heated debate on Instagram, the chances of a “Jelena” reunion appear to be quite slim. In fact, after their public allegations against one another, which included claims of cheating, there may be no chance at all.

In mid-August, Selena Gomez called out Bieber for taking a stand against his fans who didn’t appreciate him flaunting his romance with Sofia Richie, whom he’s since split from, on Instagram. In her message to her ex-boyfriend, Gomez reminded the “Cold Water” singer that his fans have been with him from the start and love him dearly. Sadly, her reminder didn’t go over well and Bieber fired back at her, claiming she’s using him for attention.

After seeing what Bieber wrote, Selena Gomez continued their online dispute by proclaiming that she was the one who offered forgiveness after he cheated on her several times throughout their relationship. In response, Bieber reportedly revealed to his fans that Gomez had allegedly had relations with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, who is currently dating model Gigi Hadid, while they were dating.

In addition to the online tension between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, which seems to hint that they may have finally called it quits with their on and off relationship, Bieber is actually being blamed for Gomez’s recent struggles with anxiety and depression. As a report by HNGN revealed on October 6, Selena Gomez’s tension with her ex-boyfriend could have led to her health issues.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber began dating in 2010 and remained in a committed relationship with one another until 2012. Since then, they have been involved in an up and down romance and reunited most recently in March of this year. At that time, Gomez was photographed in the audience at Bieber’s Staples Center show. Before that, they spent time in Beverly Hills.

Following his outing with Selena Gomez in December, Justin Bieber was spotted with a number of women and appeared to enjoy brief relationships with actress Nicola Peltz and model Hailey Baldwin. He also enjoyed frequent outings with Kourtney Kardashian from October of last year until July of this year, when the rumored pair was seen in Miami for the July 4 weekend.

Weeks after Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s highly-publicized Instagram feud, the singer announced she would be canceling her Revival World Tour, which was expected to press on until December of this year, due to her mental health struggles.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways. I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges,” Selena Gomez said in her August 30 statement to People Magazine. “I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off.”

As for how she’s treating her illness, a source weeks ago revealed she was taking an organic route.

“Selena Gomez has not experienced a lot of relief from classic western medicine, and is seeking alternative treatments for her lupus diagnosis,” a source close to the singer told Hollywood Life. “She wants to begin ‘chelation therapy,’ which is a method of pulling toxins and metals out of the body. She’s switched to an all organic, grain-free diet, and thoroughly ‘detoxed’ her house.”
