One Direction Baby? New Evidence Suggests Cheryl May Be Pregnant With Liam Payne
Cheryl has been dodging rumors that she’s pregnant and expecting a baby with boyfriend and One Direction star Liam Payne for weeks, but fans are continuing to speculate that the popstar is in fact about to become a mom.
Though Cheryl and Liam are yet to officially confirm or deny if they’re expecting their first child together, a number of new developments are adding even more fuel to the pregnancy fire.
After Cheryl stepped out at L’Oreal Paris’s Gold Obsession Party in Paris, France, during Paris Fashion Week on October 2, speculation that she’s pregnant hit fever pitch, and now fans appear to be more convinced than ever that another One Direction baby could be on the way.
According to The Sun Online, as soon as Cheryl showed off what the site described as being a “fuller figure” at the Paris event, British fans flocked to betting shops in the U.K. to put money on Cheryl being pregnant.
The site spoke to two British betting companies about fans betting on Cheryl being pregnant, confirming that both Ladbrokes and William Hill have now been forced to suspend betting due to overwhelming demand.
“The odds have been falling as quick as Cheryl’s ‘bump’ has been growing,” Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told The Sun Online, “and we’ve been left with no option but to suspend betting on the happy couple announcing they’re expecting a bundle of joy.”
Joe Crilly of William Hill confirmed that Ladbroke’s rival has also suspended betters from putting money on Cheryl being pregnant with Payne’s baby. “We no longer think it is a viable market to bet on as the pictures seem to suggest a baby is on the way,” Crilly confirmed.
Cheryl and Liam have stayed seriously tight-lipped while the pregnancy rumors swirl around the former Girls Aloud star, though OK! Magazine reported that Cheryl actually disabled comments on her Instagram account after social media users continually asked her if she was pregnant with the One Direction singer’s baby on the social media site.
Cheryl, who hadn’t posted on the photo sharing site in five weeks prior to sharing snaps from her appearance at L’Oreal Paris’s Gold Obsession Party, disabled comments on her three most recent uploads after the pregnancy rumors hit fever pitch.
Cheryl first shared a selfie on Instagram from the beauty party before then sharing a snap of herself at the event with her fellow L’Oréal spokeswomen including Doutzen Kroes, which she captioned, “Talk to me about your squad goals #lorealista #GoldObsession.”
Cheryl also shared a short video with her fans on October 3, which showed her posing at the party in Paris, France, but has not commented on speculation she may be pregnant.
While Cheryl and Liam are still yet to speak out as the pregnancy rumors continue to swirl, Capital FM claimed this week that Payne has allegedly been asking his One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson, who has a 10-month old son, for some advice on fatherhood.
“Liam was bombarding Louis with questions about being a dad,” a source alleged of Payne amid rumors Cheryl may be pregnant. “Louis was very honest with Liam and told him what a huge change it has been in terms of responsibility and lifestyle.”
“Liam really wants a family and is confident he’ll get over his panic,” continued the insider of Payne, “but he’s just feeling a little overwhelmed by the prospect of fatherhood right now.”
The Cheryl and Liam pregnancy rumors first hit a fever pitch last month after One Direction fans noticed that Payne mysteriously changed his Twitter biography to tell fans how “lucky” he feels.
Liam’s Twitter bio now reads, “the luckiest man in the world,” which got Payne’s dedicated followers believing Liam may be about to become a father for the first time.
UnrealityTV also reported that Cheryl’s mom was spotted buying baby items, including a pregnancy pillow, at a baby store near the singer’s hometown late last month.
