Amber Rose And Julianne Hough: Why The ‘DWTS’ Feud Isn’t Settled Just Yet

Amber Rose was clearly bothered and hurt by Julianne Hough’s comment on Dancing With The Stars last week, when Julianne said that she felt uncomfortable after watching Amber and her dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, dance to Jennifer Lopez’ hit song, “Booty.” While Hough didn’t say anything to Rose herself, Amber learned of the comment when the producers played back Hough’s commentary during the dance. She also said that the dance had nothing to do with salsa and that it was downright bad. Julianne apparently felt uncomfortable when Maksim lifted one of Amber’s legs up in the air.

According to a new Radar Online report, Amber Rose received an apology from Hough on Monday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, where Hough blamed creative editing. She also said that she was only there to judge her dancing and nothing else. Rather than say that she apologized to Amber Rose for hurting her feelings, she simply said that she just wants to spread positivity.

While some people may have seen Hough’s apology as something that could have hinted at a peace offering, it sounds like Amber wasn’t pleased with the apology. In fact, Rose didn’t get a straightforward apology that could have put this whole thing on the backburner. Instead, it seems like Julianne’s comment during Monday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars just gave Amber even more of a reason to ignore everything that was said in the so-called apology.

“You know, all the beautiful professional dancers that are on Dancing With the Stars, I mean they dress very sexy and they do the splits and they grind up on these guys and they look absolutely stunning and they get a standing ovation. And me for me and my body, my hips, my a**, my breasts made her feel uncomfortable,” Amber Rose said after the feud on her Loveline show.

Of course, the producers did grant Amber Rose and Maksim the song because it fit so well with her curves. And many felt that Rose did the song justice. If Julianne hadn’t said anything during the dance, chances are that no one would have said anything or made a big deal out of it. Sure, the dance didn’t resemble much of the salsa dance the judges may have expected, but Maksim didn’t care too much about what the judges thought of the dance. He was there to pick up Amber Rose after the performance.

“Amber is upset because Julianne did not apologize to her privately and it seemed obvious that the only reason she did it on-air was to save face,” a source has revealed, adding, “Amber is getting a lot of heat from everyone, not just Julianne. But she is not going to tone it down. Instead, she is going to show them all just how sexy she can be!”

It did seem odd that Hough didn’t reach out to Amber Rose throughout the week to apologize to her. She could have stopped by one of their dance rehearsals to ask Rose to settle the drama, so she didn’t have to spend time on the show doing it. It makes sense that Amber is a bit skeptical of the way things went down, especially since Julianne was caught saying something in confidence but wanted to clear her name on such a big platform. Even Hough’s brother, Derek Hough, came to her defense, saying that his sister is known as a positive force, but it doesn’t seem like it worked this week.

What do you think of the way Julianne apologized to Amber Rose? Do you think they should have settled it in private?
