Jennifer Aniston To Receive An Apology From Brad Pitt For Years-Old Affair?

Do Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have unfinished business?

Years after Pitt allegedly engaged in an on-set affair with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, on the set of 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a source claims Pitt is hoping to meet with Jennifer Aniston and make things right between them.

“He never properly said to her, ‘I’m sorry I hurt you,'” an insider revealed to OK! Magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life on October 5, “and that’s what he wants to do. In the past, he was a little glib [about the breakup,] but he wants to make amends, once and for all.”

According to the report, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are reportedly planning a secret meeting at the 52-year-old actor’s beachfront ranch in Goleta, California.

“It’s the perfect spot because it’s far away from prying eyes,” the magazine’s insider claimed, also revealing that Jennifer Aniston spent time at the home with Pitt during their marriage and considered the property a “romantic getaway.”

This alleged meeting “is hugely important to Brad,” the source told OK! Magazine, and will reportedly allow him to take responsibility for their divorce years ago.

In late 2004, as Pitt and Jolie filmed Mr. & Mrs. Smith, rumors began swirling which claimed the two were engaging in inappropriate behavior behind the back of Pitt’s wife, Jennifer Aniston. Although denials were made at the time, Jolie later confirmed she and Pitt had fallen in love on set, and in spring 2005, Aniston filed for divorce.

Adding insult to injury for Jennifer Aniston was the fact that Pitt so quickly went public with Jolie and welcomed a child with her just one year after their divorce.

Although Pitt may owe Jennifer Aniston an apology, if he hasn’t given her one already, the OK! Magazine has been deemed untrue by Aniston’s rep, who told Hollywood Life, “This is just another fabrication.”

“The report is not true,” another insider close to Pitt told the outlet, adding that during this time, the actor “is focused on his family and not anyone else.”

After Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, a source spoke to Us Weekly, revealing that Jennifer Aniston felt Pitt’s divorce was “karma.”

“Yeah, that’s karma for you!” Jennifer Aniston reportedly told a longtime pal.

As a magazine insider revealed, Jennifer Aniston never felt that Jolie and Pitt were right for one another, so when Jolie filed for divorce and requested full custody of their children, Aniston wasn’t too surprised.

“She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually. She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy,” the source explained.

That said, Jennifer Aniston doesn’t feel good about the news and hopes that Pitt will one day find happiness. While Jennifer Aniston “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split,” she also “never wanted this for them or wished this on them,” the source said.

“[Jennifer Aniston] does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she’s happy, and she wants him to be happy too,” a second insider added. “Jen does not hold on to any negativity from her marriage to Brad.”

Jennifer Aniston has not yet publicly commented on the recent split between her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, and his wife, Angelina Jolie.
